A mod needs to change the thread title.

2016 is clearly NOT the year of the QB.

May not be as shitty as 2013 but it is extremely weak.

QBs always seem to start out hot in the season then coaches watch more film, pick up tendencies, and expose most of these guys I almost rather just sign Kaepernick and I HATE Kaep but atleast hes had some sucess around a running game and defense. I couldnt stand to bring another guy in here high just to see him flame out. Brees becoming available somehow is my only hope for as of right now.

Kaep got exposed the minute defenses found out he doesn't go through his progressions. If you keep him in the pocket he's almost useless.

Kevin Hogan's draft stock is exploding. He went from probably undraftable to a day 2 prospect in this last month and a half, he's playing his mind out.

He's not going to sniff top 5, let alone top 5. Talented, but he should go back to school, clean up mechanical flaws and ball placement skills before he comes out. His inconsistency and intermidate accuracy is maddening; love his feel for pressure, but he's a project.

In this day and age the top QB prospect will almost always go top 5, the demand is just too high.

I've been watching Goff a little lately, I gotta say I see way too much of him just throwing it up and his WR's making a great play. Honestly I came away more impressed with the receivers on that team.

I don't know much about his draft stock but their WR #1 has looked awesome to me. If he isn't completely wide open down the field for Goff to loft it up, he's plucking it out of the air as well.

I don't know of any QBs worth throwing a first round pick at.

Kevin Hogan wouldn't be a bad pick in my opinion....... Could get him later in the draft too

Hope Petty starts improving at an even faster rate. Might not have another option next year.

He's going to be the savior.

    I truly feel that.

Big, strong, huge arm, athletic, accurate, a true leader.

He learns the offense and he'll take off.

    There are not.

    Not for the Jets.

Bryce Petty is better than any QB coming out this year.

It bothers me how good Baylor is without Petty, gives credence to all the system talk. He graduates so they replace him with the backup, still win. He gets injured so they replace him with the 3rd string, still win. He gets injured so they replace him with the 4th string, still win. Then hell, HE gets injured today and they replace him with a wide receiver and still only lose by 6.

I know you can only evaluate Petty for what he is, not what Baylor is without him, but it's eye opening how plug and play it's been over there. Still, great size, mobility, huge arm and great leadership qualities. He really needs to be molded right.
