In a years time he's going from looking extremely shaky to understanding the offense. It's visible. Baylor is the king of gimmicky offenses and Petty made a relatively smooth transition in a years time with limited reps.

Also, I have a feeling Trubisky returns to college for another year. That UNC team is good and I can see him trying to get into the playoffs with them. He's loyal and just needs some more game time to be a top prospect.

Isn't it about time for Stokes to come back?

I'll hop in the front seat of the Trubisky bandwagon

Not for nothing, but why would we take another qb when we have two we have know idea about already?

because if you are not sure if you have a qb then you do not have a qb.

Kizer is the best prospect, but I watch ND every week and he is terribly inconsistent. He's destined to go to Cleveland and get injured like all their other QB's, sad really.

There's always the "keep drafting a QB till one sticks" theory.

So we are going to carryb3 unproven qb's? I think two is enough

Deshone Kizer vs Brad Kaaya today. Let's see what they're about. I like Watson better than both and Trubisky better than all.

I should've had said I don't agree with the theory but it's something I see among some Jets fans.

I'd rather give Petty or Hackenberg a crack.

Kizer is owning the stage so far

Neither of them really blows me away to be honest. Kaaya reminds me a bit of Mariota when he's in the pocket, but he doesn't have the added dimension of athleticism. Kizer gets a lot of love because someone drew a Cam Newton comparison on him but I don't really see anything other than an athletic strong armed guy who has inconsistent accuracy and decision making. Sounds like a lot of guys who go in the mid rounds.

It's still really, really early (and I've only paid attention to 4 quarterbacks) but I've got:

    1). Trubisky
    2). Watson

    3). Kizer

    4). Kaaya

Trubisky looks like he could really be something, Watson is the only other guy who likes like a potential first round pick. Last year's class was a little better, but not much.

Watson just always looks like he's in control. Great poise for a college QB, never seems to panic.

Is this even a conversation? Brad Kaaya's mom was Felicia from Friday.

We could spend an entire season watching him suck and saying BYE FELICIA.

I haven't watched too many games from this year's QB group. That being said I think Kizer and Kaaya will be decent prospects. Watson hasn't impressed me that much. Haven't seen Trubisky. Guy from Texas Tech seems interesting as well. There aren't any stars in this draft but there are a bunch of late 1st round to 2nd round prospects that could be good in the league under the right circumstances.

Anybody like my guy Skyler Howard from WVU? Having a pretty good season and kids got a LOT of heart... needs to work on consistency though ..Will be a project.. probably 4th-5th rounder.

HELL NO! Having a "good season" because he throws 20-25 passes within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage every game. WVU fans boo him every single week. He's pathetic and barely has what it takes to not completely screw up a talented Big 12 team. If he's drafted at all it will be a joke.

Think Ryan Fitzpatrick's bad? Watch Skylar's game last Saturday.
