We Didn't steal shit from those homo's we beat them fair and square. An they already lost to a team they should of beat when they choked against the Texans in the final second. They wont even be irrelivant when Week 17 rolls around.

Dolphins barely remember their perfect season and the SBs they won in the 70's, yet the deep throat Marino who won them nothing.... thats pathetic. Its like the Raiders remembering the old days and thinking its relevant to this day. At least we are a fanbase that knows where we are at, but are changing our mentality.

At least we praise Namath, he has a ring and revolutionized the game.

I went to Cornell. I lived in collegetown on Buffalo St, Linden Ave, and Stewart Ave for all my years after freshman year. You?

I don't know if Favre will want to break his start streak.

Dolphins fans are complete irrational idiots. Their favorite phrase is 'Jets Suck' even though their own franchise has not won a SB since 1973. Their hatred of the Jets goes beyond the football team. It's a general hate of NYers. The natives down there resent having half of their stadium filled with Jets fans and the fact that half of South Florida is full of ex-NYers. It's a territorial thing and it runs very deep. The easiest thing they can do is take it out on the NY football team. Kind of babyish. I have noticed the cockiness this year and the truth is the Dolphins are taking advantage of the very thing that the Jets were accused of doing in 2006 with that easy schedule. They are a very over-rated team with lots of holes but the coaching staff down there has done a good job of covering them. They may finish 10-6, make the playoffs, one and done, and then come back next year and finish 5-11. So again the 'ex-NYers' may have the last laugh.....

I understand why you might say that but I disagree for several reasons:

    1) There have been so many years where it looked like 10 wins might not be enough to qualify for the postseason, and yet, it is exceedingly rare for things to turn out this way. (The ONLY two teams I can ever remember this happening to were Denver in the early 90s and Cleveland last year)

    2) The Patriots, Ravens, and Steelers all have brutal schedules down the stretch. Let's look at the remaining schedules of all the legitimate contenders (leaving the AFC west out of it)

Steelers: Chargers, Bengals, @Patriots, Cowboys, @Ravens, @Titans, Browns

(I see them going 10-6 or 11-5. I could see them splitting the four tough games with the Pats, Cowboys, Ravens, and Titans and winning the rest of their games. I would normally expect the Chargers to give them a tough time this week, and maybe even beat them, but I don't think the Steelers will lose 2 in a row at home, especially after that brutal loss to the Colts last week)

    Patriots: @Dolphins, Steelers, @Seahawks, @Raiders, Cardinals, @Bills

(I also see them going 10-6 or 11-5. I would guess 10-6 because I think they will split the four games with the fins, Steelers, cardinals, and Bills and win the other two against the Seahawks and Raiders. I happen to think they will beat Miami in Miami next week but we shall see)

Ravens: @Giants, Eagles, @Bengals, Redskins, Steelers, @Cowboys, Jaguars

(OUCH - I see them going 9-7 or 10-6. They are not going to beat the Cowboys or Giants on the road. I also think they will definately lose one of the following home games: Redskins, Eagles, Steelers - it is possible they could even two of those three)

I'll throw in the Colts because they deserve to be considered: Texans, @Chargers, @browns, Bengals, Lions, @Jaguars, Titans

(They have a much easier schedule than the Ravens and will likely be 6-4 after this week. Now I don't think they are very good and I still think they will lose to the Chargers and Jaguars on the road. Of course, I would expect them to lost to the Titans the last week of the season, except that the Titans will likely have everything wrapped up in that game and the Colts will be playing at home, probably for their playoff lives. By the way, I could also easily see them losing in Cleveland. I would probably guess they go 9-7 but 10-6 is certainly possible)

    Dolphins: Raiders, Patriots, @Rams, @Bills, 49ers, @Chiefs, @Jets

(Personally, I think don't see them beating the Jets in the meadowlands in the last game of the season. I also think the Bills will probably edge them out the second time around. Also, as I have already mentioned, I fully expect them to lose to a bad team that everyone expects them to beat -I could really see them losing in Kansas City. That would make them 9-7 right there. And that's ASSUMING they beat the Pats at home. I say they go 9-7 or 8-8 pending the HUGE game they have agaisnt the Pats next week)

Now, remember, either the Ravens or Steelers are going to win the AFC North. I have already hinted at the fact that, given the schedules, I expect the Steelers to win the division at 10-6 or 11-5. Probably 10-6. I think there is a legitimate chance that the Ravens and Colts could both end up at 9-7, and if that is the case, then the Ravens would be out because they lost to the colts already. Now, there is also a chance that the Ravens, Dolphins, and Colts could all be at 9-7. Since they all didn't play each other, ALONG WITH the fact that they are all in different divisions, it comes down to records against common opponents among the three teams. My guess is that either the Dolphins will be 8-8 or that the Ravens or Colts will be 10-6, meaning that ONLY two teams will be 9-7 and in contention for the last wild card spot. In any case, I think it's very unlikely that 10 wins won't be enough to make qualifly for the playoffs in the AFC.

By the way, just to point out the obvious, I left the AFC west out of it because it is clear that either the Chargers or Broncos will win the division and the other team will be either 8-8 or 9-7. I realize that at 9-7, either team would be in the mix for a wild card but I just think both teams suck and I don't even want to take either of them seriously at this point.

nice, engineering Physics! Yeah, it's great to see you here, as well. I majored in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering with a concentration in Thermo-Fluids Engineering. I got my master's from Cornell in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Fluid Dynamics . I'm going to be going for a PHD in Fluid Dynamics, starting next year. What year are you in and how do you like it?

It's a long story... I'll just leave it at that. :)

And Engineering Physics is fantastic. Thinking about getting into theoretical physics later on though.

i think they are good, probably with the coach of the year at their side, and the div title could come down to week 17

Dolphins fans are delusional. We dominated the game for over 3 quarters, they never held a lead. The managed to have a shot at a magical Pennington comeback at the end, but of course it didn't happen. Somehow, to them, that equals the Jets stealing the game.

    retards.

Hey, I hate the 'Fins as much as anyone. I hate the Miami Dolphins more than I hate the Patriots. But the thing is, their fans do have a right to puff up their chests and brag. Since everyone seems to like htese lists so much? Here we go. Three reasons why Dolphin fans should be proud and optimistic about their team:
    1. The Dolphins are playing great football right now.
    2. They have a great running game.
    3. They have a VERY easy schedule the rest of the way.

They remind me of the Jets, the first year that Mangini coached them.
The NFL put together a butterball schedule so they could win more games.
    This almost always works, right?

Well, there's three good reasons why the Jets will win the AFC East and the best the 'Fins can do will be a wild-card:

    1. The Jets are the most talented tteam in their division and have just expressed their dominance over the former champions.
    2. The Jets will kick their asses on Dec. 28 (unless the Jets decide to rest their players because they have secured their position throughout the playoffs--which is why I give the 'Fins a shot at winning this game and an AFC wild card)
    3. Chad Pennington.
