Ahhh chill out man - John Abraham will always be a pussy in my mind...he sat out of a playoff game! The guy's a pussy.

Yeah, because if you put him on this team he'd automatically have 15.5 sacks here too...

You mean like how he was the best pass rusher this team has had for years, when they had no one before him and no one after him. Did you watch him when he played for the Jets?

John Abraham comes across as a better version of Joey Porter, and he's done well in the 3-4.

Yup, and I remember posting on here in 2004 and 2005 when people were moaning about the lack of a consistent pass rush and complaining that Abe either sat out big games or may as well have for all the production we got from him in them.

Reggie White - 198 sacks in 232 games. John Abraham - 83 sacks in 111. I'd say that' pretty damn good compared to White. Abraham has never had fewer than 10 sacks in any full season. Opponents double team him all the time. The guy always plays hard. Stop trying to rationalize the fact that the Jets screwed up on this one. I posted back then be careful what you ask for. And I was right. Abraham went and the pass rush with him. I'm out.

I never wanted to get rid of Abe but he's a guy who never stayed healthy. If he was more durable he would still be here. We sure could use him but that was 2 1/2 years ago we got rid of him.

Mangold is quite possibly the most overrated player on our team.

Abraham fits into that category of young & talented, but never seemed to be ready for the playoffs. Its only fitting he would come into his own , when he's not a Jet!

That's probably the best assessment of the situation.

Is Abraham a 3-4 DE? Can he play LB and drop back in coverage?

Is it the number of seconds a QB has to pass when playing against us?

    He's a liability in coverage.

    Mangold >>>>>>>>>>>>> Mawae

Oh and on the pass rusher thing...you know how few elite level pass rushers theres been in the last 3 drafts? And had Mario Williams fallen to 4 in '06, we'd have had him.

It's not exactly like the teams passed up an Abraham in every draft since we've traded him.

Why do these things never get considered when complaining is done? I mean...this is the internet.
