(God I still feel so dirty saying I love Pennington. I feel like that Finkle and Einhorn scene from Ace Ventura... need to go plunger my mouth, burn my clothes, and take a long burning hot shower...)

I love that quote, this guy is probably one of those that was rooting for Chad to suck, cheered when he got hurt, rooted for us to lose to get a better pick and now he is whining b/c there are some of us that saw throught he glitz of picking up the big name of Brett Favre. I root for the Jets every game regardless of who is in the uniform.

It seems to me that he is just disgusted with all the "jet fans" who say they will actually root against the Jets on Sunday. I agree with him.

I'm a Chad lover BUT I think it was a good thing going out and getting Favre. Everybody wants to put a lot og blame on Brett but this ALL goes on the coaches....PERIOD

Even if the Pats win at 1 O'Clock the Jets will still have a chance to make the playoffs if they win and the Ravens lose at 4 O'Clock. Jet fans DO NOT ROOT for the Dolphins to beat the Jets.

If the Pats beat the Bills and Baltimore is up by a ton against the Jags, i really wont be disappointed if Chad leads the Dolphins down the field and beats our team. I want the Jets to win, but i don't think i can stand to see NE in the playoffs again.

Quoting a poster who is consistently wrong, and approvingly so? Wow.

Chad Fans did not oppose the Favre deal because they "knew" he was done. He had a great year last year, and took his team, a team that is not doing nearly so well this year, to the Champ Game last year. Meanwhile Chadwick was 1-8. They opposed the deal out of manlove for all things Chadwickian.

I knew all along this season, despite denials from Chad Fans, that they were rooting for Miami to do well. Now some have openly said they hope Miami beats the Jets.

Well, I have been right all along, too. Chad Fans are not real Jet fans.

If you are a real Jet fan, you do not prefer one over the other. I don't have the hatred for Buffalo that I have for both those teams. But that's another subject. Real Jet fans do not prefer either the Pats or the fish.

    Dude.. The Pats, easily.

They're in the playoffs every season- at this point it's practically a given. Why on earth would you want to have both of your biggest rivals enjoying major success?

I couldn't care less about the Pats making the playoffs again. So long as they don't win a 4th Lombardi, it's nothing new. Miami making the playoffs would just add on top of a decade of agony- watching our rivals succeed.

Sure you don't hate the Bills, they handed you your only win in the last 4 games.

I must agree here. An offensive scheme could have been easily developed around Favre. Our coaching has shown zero adaptability all year. I will say that numerous throws by Favre were outright pathetic and mega-bad decisions. Mangini should have pulled Favre aside and told him, "You aren't gonna do that on my team." I doubt anything like that ever happened.

I think a big part of the team has seen this lack of onus placed on Favre the whole season when at times it was clearly deserved to the point of benching the guy for a game. I really don't think Mangini had the nads to do what needed to be done here and has lost the respect of the team because of it. That is one aspect. The DC has been in la-la land all year.
