    this guy was pretty good on the Pats' special teams unit....hopefully he has some gas left in the tank.

    Retaliation for New England signing Chris Baker?? Hes a special teams ace,could be used at LB for depth. Could be a good move veteran prescence and knowledge. Good signing.

    Great...another mid 30's guy that the Jets pickup, and the Pats get a 27yr old corner. When are we going to learn??? This guy cannot make the team if he can't contribute on the field. Wallace Wright is an exceptional special teams guy, but we don't have the roster spots available for another "special teams only" guy. I doubt he sees opening day, and probably just another part of the silly Jets v Pats "you take ours, i'll take yours" game.

    Good signing, replaces Bowens on special teams, should be a good locker room presence.

    Also replaces Cody Spencer who signed with the Lions and was primarily a special teams player. Izzo is one of the best.

    Lol, just keeping with tradition.

    Honestly though he is the definition of the word. A lesser known ST player/ace, on the downside of his career looking for one more shot. I doubt they signed him for nothing more than the league minimum. So worst case scenario, he gets cut in preseason. So no biggie either way.
