    Probably due to the rain. It's harder to grip breaking balls when the ball is wet.

    Just got in from the gym. I got texts saying Beckett is struggling with his location..but after striking out Posada, he looks fine to me.

    Hes running some high counts. I believe even posada's was a full count. Nonetheless, hes still going to be hard to hit.

    This umpire is off to a bad start. That strike to Lowell was MAYBE a little low, but still could be called. The problem is, Burnett threw the previous pitch the same height on the outside corner and didn't get the call.
