I think we will see lots of unbalanced lines on both teams and I wouldn't be surprised if NE ran a 3 RB backfield. I think we will see Dustin Keller's total incompetence at blocking hurt us, but we'll also see some LBs left in his wake on more than one pass play. I think you'll see the PAts gamble early and try to make a big defenseive play on Sanchez. I think you'll see NE go man to man on our WRs and try to knock Leon around coming out of the backfield. I think Kevin Faulk, for once, will be a nonfactor. I think Lowery can control Welker. I think Koppen will be embarrassed by Jenkins more than once. That's all I got, what you got?
Good post, except I sort of doubt Lowery can check Welker. As for the bolded, while we might see that once or twice, I fully expect the pats to spend the majority of the game spreading us out with 3/4/5 WR sets. You'll see them run a lot out of 3WR sets and throw a lot out of the other two. It will be fascinating to see if the Jet Pass rush can really get to Brady as much as we hope. I keep going back and forth in my head about this game. We'll see.
I think this is wishful thinking. I think Welker will easily have around 10 catches/100+ yards. I think the Jets will win the turnover battle as well as the field position battle and thus the game.
Agreed. The league has no doubt told the refs to get the band of lunatics under control and protect the golden child Brady. But to no avail... Brady will not finish the game. Jets run for over 200 yards. 5-6 sacks by Jets. At least one bomb to Clowney...possibly very early. Double digit win for the Jets as they continue on the road to a 5-0 start.
I'll be looking for the "Wolverine Connection" all afternoon long, as in David Harris connecting with Brady and driving him into the turf repeatedly.
vernon gholston standing over brady as he withers in pain. this is the game that ghoston can prove himself to jets fans. at least one insane catch from cotch. he always pulls something special out for the pats. i expect to see blitzing on nearly every play. most importantly i expect to see lots of pain on the pats faces.
