Im curious to what things will be like in the media, on this message board, and with jets fans in general if Sanchez has, lets say a two interception game no T.D's and we lose the game. Believe me im not rooting for it to happen, but looking around this message board and reading articles it seems like we are at a total crossroads with this team. What if we do come out flat and lose this game???
I don't see why it matters. The medias going to say this isn't our year and we're getting a reality check and Rex need to stop talking big. Jets fans are going to say Sanchez sucks/bench his ass, the sky is falling, same old Jets. The truth is it depends on the circumstances. Rex is probably going to have to take a good long look at this team and a look at his coordinators and do some ass-kicking. What good would benching Sanchez do? I'm a big fan of Clemens, but is Clemens/Ainge/O'Connell just going to waltz onto the field and lead us to another 7/8 wins? Probably not.
I can tell you right now what things will be like in the media, on TGG, and with NYJ fans in general if Sanchez fucks up and we lose @ OAK. "Fire Rex Ryan" "Sanchez = bust" "Bring back Mangini" "Same old Jets "Season over" You shouldn't be curious about this at all, it's a foregone conclusion. What's more interesting is how does the media, fan base and NYJ fans in general react if Sanchez torches Oakland and we completely dismantle them on the road. Super Bowl talk? Rookie of the year talk? You never know when you're BiPolar.
There is no "what if" Jets are gonna come out flat. Jets are giving 7 points, I'm putting my house up on the Raiders this weekend if i wasn't a Jets fan. I can never bet against my team though. Sorry for the negativity but I can't see the Jets winning this game. Raiders are going good right now and heres why. 1- They got smacked by the giants and got a wake up call and beat the eagles. 2- Tom Cable is dropped of all charges. 3- Richard Seymour guranteed the Raiders make the playoffs and there gonna come out firing
True, I was in a pissy mood and i felt bashing sanchez was something to do but its not how i truly feel. There not and shouldn't do that and i mean if where going to have a non-playoff season we might aswell keep him in there and let him learn and hopefully next season he has a good sophmore season. Still time to get things right this season.
a bunch of retards will make stupid threads and posts. a smaller group will try to point out that the posts and threads are stupid. the stupidity will reach such a high point that the only safe place will be the bunker.
I wont be shocked at all if we lose this game and sanchez plays poorly. That doesnt mean im going to lose faith in Sanchez and the coaching staff however. The only way a lose here will get me upset is if the defense plays poorly against that big fat fuck quarterback. If that happens, then I think its time to maybe hit the panic button. P.S - Theres NO way this defense doesnt completly shit on Jemarcus Russell, Rex will make sure his defense earns their paychecks on sunday.
Actually, I bet you're really saying: If Sanchez plays like shit again, I'm going to be a Vikings' fan. Man, fuck Brett Favre - that's the past and in my opinion, it was the worst possible move this franchise could make. HH, you have to give this kid some time to become a great quarterback. It's not going to be easy and it's not going to happen overnight. How long have you been a Jets' fan? ...probably a long time. A little more patience isn't going to kill you. Mark Sanchez will be a franchise quarterback. I said it before the draft and I'm sticking by it. In the words of Carson Palmer: "Keep slingin' it"
If our backup was lets say Jeff Garcia, things would get very ugly, considering it is Kellen Clemens with basically the same amount of experience as Sanchez with less talent, it would still get ugly but not as bad
Yo are you serious man , Did yo see what i reposted ? An i wouldn't be a vikings fan if they payed me too.
What if???? The Jets come out and stomp the Raiders and Mark plays good enough not to lose. Mark is our QB and the Jets aren't coming out flat, they're going to run the ball on the leagues next to last worst rush D.
I agree fans would be calling for Garcia to play. But the thing I don't understand about Garcia is that he sucks. If he was any good, he wouldn't be on his 12th team in the last 3 years. Anyway, that's a topic for another thread.
