Our road to the playoffs win be an arduous one. I will wish for the best, but I am prepared for...........
LMFAO>............ That was the thread closer right there :rofl2: way to group everyone together without understanding the history.... hey! that makes you Ignorant!
did you take time to come up with this, insightful. Glad you let your fart out too. Hope you feel better now.
You made the EXACT same thread last week! It was called something like "after our next two games everything could be different"
http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=50648 http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=50729 All the threads are pretty much the same. "We could be better in if we win the next two games and the patriots manage to lose." I'm sorry if you think this is adding something to the football conversation but to the rest of us its called common knowledge and not something we need to read on a message board.
This. There is nothing so wrong with the post itself, but it's almost the exact same thing you stated previously. That's why people are busting balls - not too hard to figure out.
If we're going to make a move on the division, the next 4 weeks is when we're going to be able to do it. We're facing 4-4 Jacksonville, New England, 3-5 Carolina and 3-5 Buffalo. Two at home, one at a neutral site and one in Foxboro where we have won 2 of the last 3 meetings. It is 110% necessary that we beat the Patriots in Foxboro. If we do not win that game there is ZERO chance we win the East. ZERO. We would be leaving Foxboro, depending what happens Sunday, 2 or 3 games out of 1st place with the Patriots holding the tiebreaker. These are 4 games in which the Jets basically must go 4-0 if we hope to hold onto division title hopes. Can we do it? Yes. The other 3 games are games the Jets should win and the Patriots is the one that is hanging in the balance. Of course, these are the Jets, so no game is a gimme, but the next 4 or 5 games are games we must win because down the stretch: New England is facing 8-0 Indianapolis in IND, us, 8-0 New Orleans in NO and 3-5 Miami in MIA. It is not far-fetched to believe that the Patriots could go 2-2, maybe even 1-3 in these games. If we go 4-0 in ours, 2-2 gets us tied w. them and since we'd have the tiebreaker, 1st place. If they go 1-3, we have a 1 and a half game lead technically since we hold that tiebreak. Jets: @ Tampa (1-7), vs Atlanta (5-3), @ Indianapolis (8-0), vs Cincinnati (6-2) Patriots: vs Carolina (3-5), @ Buffalo (3-5), vs Jacksonville (4-4), @ Houston (5-4) Needless to say, if we're trailing entering those final 4 games, it's going to be very difficult to make up a game.
perhaps you should try a different type of cereal tomorrow. If you don't post yourself don't spend every moment you have bashing others.
I think that you're missing the point here. You don't need to start a new thread EVERY FREAKING TIME a new thought pops into your head. Once you grasp the concept you're on your way to being a better poster, and in turn, a better person. I do post in the Jets forum, but limit myself to posting the "right stuff in the right place."
What pisses me off is that this thread totally ruined the potential of my "If the Jets score more points, they'll win" thread.
Sorry from now on I will stick to celebrity owners, Josh Freeman, etc.... NE's schedule playing the 2 unbeatens on either side of the game with us should be the biggest conversation on here.
NO, you just don't get it. IF YOU START A THREAD ON A SUBJECT AND YOU WANT IT DISCUSSED FURTHER JUST BUMP IT UP. Starting thread after thread about the same subject annoys people and is why nobody will take what you have to say seriously anymore. How is who New England plays really a conversation? Sure, they play two unbeaten teams, anybody that considers themselves a Jets fan should know that. Do we need to start a thread saying that if the Patriots lose and we win we are in good shape? NO, anybody who watches sports knows that if their division rival loses and their team wins it's a good thing. It's kinda self-explanatory.
