A 3-0 start to a 1-5 slide, now we sit at 4-5, 2 games back in the AFC East.

This team has lost a lot of close games and can never seem to put all phases of the game together at once in the last 6 weeks.

While nothing can erase it, a win today can take the jets to 1 game back with 6 to go in the division. Are the odds likely? Hell no, I expect we'll probably lose by 2 scores today. But as fans that doesn't stop us from cheering, so lets believe and hope that we can continue to cheer on our jets THIS season. A loss will put us in a position where we are simply watching Sanchez and his progression the rest of the year, staring a 6-10/7-9 year in the face.

LETS GO! BRING SOME OF THAT SEPTEMBER MAGIC BACK! AND THE HOME OF THE JETS!

Everything on the line, and Sanchez throws a pick six, Edwards drops an easy third down pass that would have been 1st down, their defense again is swiss cheese. This is a team with no heart. And what is really frustrating is you know what's gonna happen: they'll lose today and in essence be out of the playoffs, season over, then from next week on, they'll play really well, get some big blow out wins, etc, etc, all when it doesn't matter any more, all they'll do is drop 10 plus spots in the draft, which they only have few picks in anway because of all the trades....

    SAME OLD CRAPPY JETS...

we werent supposed to win this season anyway we just got tricked into thinking we could. I cant wait for them to come out with the 2010 schedule so we can start trashing our week 1 opponent.

There is a difference between a new team playing like a new team, and a team the degresses. This team does the latter

We are going to win the next 3 games (vs CAR, @BUF, @TAM) and have a 7-6 record. If this team can't take it from there and finish out the season with a winning record at least, then I'll get pissed off about it.

why?? .. i truthfully dont know what i want.. another thread proposed benching thomas and starting ghost for the rest of the season.. maybe that would be good.. who knows...

WE AREN'T MAKING PLAYOFFS.. there is no way.. I'm in no way a darksider.. but just lookin at schedules.. were not going better than 8-8.. and jags and steelers aint going worse than 8-8.. so there is that.. now we play for players' experience and draft spots.. ill be rooting next sunday like always.. but we need to fix a lot of shit.. hopefully sanchez corrects his shit by next season..

Season's over... At this point I'd rather go 4-12, get a top 5 pick, then trade down. We have some big holes and they need to be fixed, starting in the draft.
