Trade doesn't really work for Philly does it? Yes it's an improvement but it's not much when comparing the two. Seattle comes out big in this trade if they get Lee.
I'm also glad the Yanks/Red Sox didn't land Halladay.....it was bad enough that we are forced to let him go...but to a division rival would've sucked major balls.
COME ON METS! JUST SIGN BAY ALREADY! I'd also love Aroldis Chapman..Cuban Papi is money...he'd be a star
Kind of sucks. I like Matsui. But his inablility to play outfield is a handcuff. Sucks to see him go.

According to ESPN's Jayson Stark, the big 3-way was actually 2 seperate deals made by Philly. Phillies trade Kyle Drabek, C Travis d'Arnaud, OF Michael taylor for Halladay. Phillies trade Cliff Lee to Seattle for SP Phillippe Aumont, OF Tyson Gillies.
Right now that looks like the "big" names. Although they did get back solid prospects from SEA. Stark is on ESPN now emphasizing that the trade(s) aren't officially finalized, and that other names involved may surface.
I may have to grow my Doug Drabek moustache & mullet combination...in celebration of the arrival of his son Kyle to the Blue Jays.
Phillies got ass raped for Halladay...hahaha Lee & Taylor AND Drabek Thats a #1 pitcher for another #1 pitcher + #1 prospect + #2 prospect
