If we have him under contract for the next three seasons at a reasonable cost why would we even consider trying to do this now? We can't give him a big signing bonus now with the 30% rule and the 50% rule in year two. It's going to be extremely difficult to resign Revis, Harris, Mangold or Brick this off season.
The JETS history which I have been fukin pissed with is to low ball and ultimately not sign our young & talented players. This BS needs to stop now! Sign your fuking talent, give them the money and stop being a cheap fukin organization.
i hope revis christ doesn't nail us to the cross with huge salary demands. what if we cut him? (and mangold, and dbrick, and harris) can we buy out his current contract then resign him to a new contract that gets around the +30% rule?
