Well, if the team does well, it will be a low third or a low second. Not a bad swap

No one likes it. It's part of his baggage.

So he gave Greene a bit of a cheap shot at the end. He was frustrated. It was a bitch move, but it's irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. It's not like he tackled Greene (he probably couldn't anyway) or punched him.

The lack of effort on the tackle is more troubling, but that's why he's being traded for a conditional 3rd in 2011 rather than a 1st in 2010. He has all the physical tools to be the best cornerback in the NFL, and he's already had a year where he's played like that.

It's a lot like the Braylon Edwards trade. The jury is still out on both, but both are buy lows on questionable character guys with questionable work ethics. Like Edwards, Cromartie would be a perfect fit if his head is on straight.

And like Edwards, he wants a new contract. Let's hope he plays like it.

The fact that he was able to trade a 2011 pick and not a 2010 pick is huge. This draft is deeper that 2011. Good job by Tanny!

I always have confidence that Tanny will get something done. Even when it's said nothing can be done.
Now if he trades Rhodes to Oakland for Asomugha i'll piss my pants!!

Tanny works with the mindset of proven players for picks. It seems to be working, but depth needs to be filled.

I guess I should have been more clear. I meant the fact that he doesn't crunch people. His rookie year was awesome, but I want a hitter, now, today. I want a young Ronnie Lott. Is Cromartie it?

I'm not saying it's ill told, but I have to throw that into the mix. I'll be overly enthused if it pans out.

I think with the uncapped year next season this would be a great time to add the depth we sorely need..
Now that we've gotten that corner opposite DR we should try and make a deal with trading KR for some picks and sign Rolle or deal him to the Raiders for NA.
Then we go about filling the depth with the guys who've been cut and through the draft.
