When I heard that we signed LT I immediately came here to read about it, but to do that I would have to navigate through the 50+ pages of the "LT discussion" thread that we have going on here. I understand that some people are annoyed with multiple threads on the same topic, but do we really need a giant LT thread comprised of 50+ pages? The threads that were merged weren't the same, one was discussing the possibility of getting LT and another was talking about LT after we signed him. Anyway just a suggestion.
here is a tip. anything of relevance is usually within the last 5 pages of a thread. so click on show last page, go back 5 pages and read from there. it takes about 5 minutes and you get all the information you really need. this site isn't here for you to get the news that is what all the major sports websites and twitter are for. this is where people come to discuss the news so it makes sense to keep one big topic, such as anything having to with LT in one thread.
Along the same lines, if you go to: Quick Links -> Edit Options Scroll down to the Thread Display Options section, and change Thread Display Mode to Linear - Newest First, the posts will be displayed in date order with the newest always on top. This is how I've had mine setup for a long time. I also changed the Number of Posts Per Page option to the max(40), so there aren't so many pages to click through.
I understand what you mean. I think there definitely could have been an LT speculation thread and then an LT signed thread. Seeing as how the Jets forum is clogged up with loads of shit threads, I don't see why cutting a legit thread like a major sign is helping anything.
