With the new acquisitions on the team each aspect of our squad is going to get even better then last year's ( kinda scary  ). In your opinion which part of the team will have the most impact next season and why?

    Current Roster

    Offense:

    QB: Sanchez, Clemens, Ainge, O'Connell

RB: Greene, Tomlinson, McKnight, C. Washington

    FB: Richardson, Conner

WR: Edwards, Cotchery, Holmes, Clowney, B. Smith

    TE: Keller, Hartsock

    OT: Ferguson, Woody, Hunter, Ducasse

    OG: Moore, Slauson, Turner

    C: Mangold

    Defense:

    NT: Jenkins, Pouha

DE: Ellis, DeVito, Pitoitua, Gholston, Wright, Kroul,

OLB: Pace, Thomas, Taylor, Westerman, Cummings

    ILB: Harris, Scott, Laury

CB: Revis, Cromartie, Wilson, Lowery, Warren, Coleman

S: Leonhard, Pool, E. Smith, Ihedigbo

    Special Teams:

    K: Folk

    P: Weatherford

    LS: Purdum

I'm Only counting Warren for CB's and no other UDFA's because he's the only UDFA, so far, that i see helping our team but more will happen after we seem through the good and bad UDFA's and see if any will be added and make an impact in the roster.

Also if anyone's wondering about where the tight end opinion is, which would be odd, im counting them as a part of the WR core.

Added after i posted this comment( helps make an argument for each choice ):

    1. Sanchez could be better because of the WR's and New Oline ( No Faneca to give up Sacks) and RB's are new and more elusive/healthy with less pressure to run on each play because of the options at WR for Sanchez.

    2. O-Line because no Faneca giving up sacks, Mangold and Brick getting better and Oline getting younger with Slauson/Duccasse getting into the mix

    3. The WR's could be good because the "ground and pound" offense aspect might become more passing because of the options.

    4. The Front 7 might be better with the addition of Taylor and a healthy Jenks and better CB's behind them.

    5. The Special Teams could be better with Folk ( who has great potential) and a healthy solid Weatherford.

    6. Lastly, the Secondary may because of the addition's of Wilson, Warren and Poole, especially Rhodes out of the FS spot (which was the weak link in our defense IMO).

    Make your choice

If the CBs all produce, it's going to be ridiculous to watch the defense. I'm thinking about holding my Jets D in fantasy football because I'm so giddy.

They will play as a team, not relying on one group to carry them.

I understand that but Im asking what part of the team will be better.

Sanchez could be better because of the WR's and New Oline ( No Faneca to give up Sacks) and RB's are new a more elusive/healthy.

O-Line because no Faneca giving up sacks, Mangold and Brick getting better and Oline getting younger with Slauson/Duccasse getting into the mix

The WR's could be good because the "ground and pound" offense aspect might become more passing because of the options.

The Front 7 might be better with the addition of Taylor and a healthy Jenks and better CB's behind them.

The Special Teams could be better with Folk ( who has great potential) and a healthy solid Weatherford.

Lastly, the secondary may because of the addition's of Wilson, Warren and Poole, especially Rhodes out of the FS spot (which was the weak link in our defense IMO).

So you can make an argument for each point

Secondary is most likely but I would love to see what our receiving core is capable of.

CB's should be #1. These are the players that allow our defense to be aggressive and dominate.

OL would be #2 IMO. They are the key to our running game, and are the key to keeping Sanchez healthy as well as giving him time to stretch the field.

I think they should try Revis at WR for a few plays too-

Just to piss people off. Could you imagine if they tried that at a home game, the place would go ape shit.

At least the old place would've I'm hoping to GOD I'm surrounded by actual Jet fans.

it's all on the front 7 if they perform well our defense is going to be one of the best of alltime! Our secondary is the best in the league but their success start with the front 7. For the offense it will be the OL setting up the running game. Football is played in the trenches!

I voted for the secondary, since the success of the D is so dependant on their performance.

If the secondary lives up to how good it looks on paper....Huge Boner.

Biggest impact would be the new o-line because the only totally unproven starter we will have is on the o-line. The impact may not be totally positive but it may be the biggest on the rest of the team.

The rest of the changes were with players who have gotten it done in this league.

Its gotta be the secondary. We have more talent there then at any other position, including OL and WR. The reason why we didn't make it to the SB is because our secondary got torched. This time around when/if we play the Colts in the playoffs, the changes we made will have the biggest impact on the game when compared to last years AFCCG.

Secondary as a whole should be off the charts in terms of success.
Hopefully our D-Line is ready for RB's to try and pound the rock because NOBODY is throwing on our boys!

Our DBs are Rex's crown jewel that are going to make this defense elite. And this D is what will carry us all season. Of course all of our big names will shine on seperate occasions, but for us to reach the SB we need our elite unit to dominate every chance they get.

They're already listing Warren as a safety. Which makes sense, considering his 40 times and average man-to-man skills.
