Thursday & Long: Leon Washington's Seattle Comeback 6/24/2010 11:15 AM ET By Dan Graziano o Dan Graziano o Senior NFL Writer
Nothing but respect for Leon. I liked the moves that led to his departure but still wish he could be here this year.
if he's as good a guy as he comes off to be, I wish him nothing but success and wish it could have been with the Jets. but apparently he and the Jets didn't see eye to eye on his value, so it was best for him to move on.
Washington is a classy guy. It's a damn shame he surrounds himself with such fucktards like Alvin Keels and his crazy wife. That broad is crazy...
Note the last sentence from Sherman Smith "And if he can come back from this injury, that's just going to be huge for us." They still don't know if he's going to ever be able to play.
on a seahawks beat writer's article it said Leon will have to keep the metal rod in his leg forever... that doesn't sound to good for his NFL career. Still, Love the guy nd hope he makes a succesfull comeback!
god its borderline depressing to see him in anything but a Jets uni. I hope he fucking kills it and the SEA get him as many carries as he shouldve been getting before his injury. as much of a weapon as he was for us we still never used him enough IMO. anyways hope he rebounds from the injury and does what we know he was capable of.
i hope he is not fully healed, not very successful this year and we get him back next year as a discount when he becomes a free agent.
If he thinks he can't break that leg again, he's in for a big surprise when some fatassed lineman bends that rod and breaks it again. I don't want to see him have a good year, since he's not a Jet and he's competing against SF, who I like to see win now and then.
It's too bad he has a r'tard for an agent. Classy guy, and one of my favorite Jets when he was here. Fuck Alvin Keels and his top 5 RB contract demands.
I still hate letting him go. On top of seeing him play somewhere else, it puts fear and ammunition into the players who need their deals done, ie "look what happened to Leon."
