    I'm not surprised based on my experience with that company. Not a fan.

    The cable that comes out of the computer is a VGA cable. Most new tvs have the VGA input now a days. If your computer has a video card, it should have an out put HDMI or S-Video port. U can hook that output with your tv and you should get the computer screen. Video card is an optional feature and not every computer has it.

    I had a lot of luck last year with this while I lived in Boston;

    The quality fluctuates, but some of the good streams last year were near HD. This year will probably be even better because the Jets have become such a notable team and so a lot more people will post streams. :)
    EDIT: Sorry, I guess this is a little bit off the topic of Direct TV, but I figured if people are looking for streams I might as well help out.

    you might have to bite the bullet, and change your cable provider. sooo you can get nfl networks.

    Your internet speed seems fine. What you should do is test the speed at speedtest.net. You don't always get the entire 9mb as it gets divided. Also, you may want to get off wireless connection when watching the games by connecting directly with the modem and removing the router altogether. Shut down all other programs you are not using including any downloading softwares (p2p, limewire, utorrent etc.). This should help u get a much better signal than you would otherwise.

    Great recommendations....actually I already checked out the direct connect and that does seem to clear things up tremendously....the other item you suggested I will definitely do. My 18 year old lives and dies by all that P2P crap....I think I'll just throw his ass on the Xbox during the game and SHUT his nasty disease ridden computer down. lol lol :beer:

    Why in the hell are the Jets/Pats the late game today?? What's up with that? ;)

    I don't know where you live in California, but most of the state has Jets Pats on CBS today because of the Chargers blackout. They updated our programming in Los Angeles on Thursday.

    And why isn't your 18 year old watching the game with you?

    I just looked at the broadcast map...and we are one of ONLY two little areas in the whole damn state not carrying jets/pats! ridiculous

    My 18 year old is not a transplanted East Coaster...he's born and raised in CA...so IF he cared about football it would probably be a CA team...but he could care less...zero into team sports...but huge into weight lifting...ce la vie... lol

    I'm just going to have to watch the minny/fins game....then pull down the jets/pats on the internet. I want minny to win...but I NEED Miami to keep it close...I have the Fins picked with the line on the pick em' lol lol
