As Schotty goes, so does Sanchez. Sanchez is only as good as gameplan behind him and lets be honest here, we saw a completely different offense today than we have all preseason and the first game. Lets see how this carries over going forward ok? This may be more about Schotty than Sanchez.
Yep, he looked pretty damn good. Even more impressive is that he got up from some serious hits and didn't really get shaken. I'd say Braylon Edwards (Darius Butler) made him look a little better than he really was and he still had plenty of awful throws. Well that sucked but nothing is static in this league, Sanchez had his adjustment period but I think Butler and McCourty will have theirs and I still believe they will be rock solid within a year ot too. Butler looked great in other games, but he and Brady almost lost this single handedly. I thought McCourty actually looked okay. Lets go take a goddamn shit eat a goddamn snack.

That one play action to keller just demonstrates how sanchez trusted himself and took shots. he coulda easily ran for it but got the big play. im happy for sanchez finally!
Sanchez bashers just need to get over it. They're going to be other highs and lows. Sanchez is going to be the face of the Jet's franchise for a very long time. I'm happy for Mark, he needed a game like this in the worst way....his confidence level must be sky high. I've never seen a NY Jet player more dedicated than Mark Sanchez.
I admit, I had/have my doubts with Sanchez. I think he plays too fast. Today, he looked like the game was slow for him. The 2 most impressive things I saw was his progression through the reads, and how he kept his feet under him. Kid played great. Remember, this is the first game Schotty has let him play. Anyone over confident in his potential based on a hand held offense is also naive. I hope we see the same game plan from here on out.
Well said. I was ready to jump down Schotty's throat after last week, but he gets a big thumbs up for opening up the playbook and learning to limit the presnap movement and kills.
