Good for Washington. With Jackson's injury, he should get a chance to contribute. I'm happy for the guy.

we wound up with an extra FB we weren't expecting since we drafted on that started off great and we had t-rich and nobody wants to cut him so having 2 FBs means 1 less RB. also we drafted mcknight thinking he could take leons place and so far he ain't done shit

    Chauncey Washington a Ram

Rams signed RB Chauncey Washington off the Jets' practice squad.
The Rams were already thin at running back before Steven Jackson's groin injury. Washington offers some insurance, and he's a valuable special teams player even if he doesn't see a snap on offense. Jackson's status for Week 4 is unclear at the moment.

if this was already posted --sorry kids did not see it

Wow, I'm happy there are so many C. Washington fans... when we signed him last year everyone was saying he wasn't NFL worthy... gues we'll see now becuase I think he'll be able to have some playing time in St. Louis.

    Good luck Chauncey!

Gotta say I find our HB situation incredibly worrisome now.

For the #1 rushing team in the nfl to only have 2 capable hbs on either active/unactive roster, one of which is almost 32 definitely not good.

One HB injury and well be forced to go out and either trade for some teams trash, or to take a washed up free agent.

Shockingly surprising how before the season it looked like we had 5 capable HBs, and now were at 2.

Who knows maybe theyll expect Connor to run the ball.

And that was after nearly 2 seasons in the NFL without showing a damn thing. Some people are writing McKnight off after 3 weeks.

I think Chauncey could help out if Jackson's groin is worse than they think. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do.

I think the main argument against McKnight is he didn't show any heart.
For many many fans that's an important factor.

Right now no one knows what McKnight can achieve in this league, not even Jets coaches, but the perception of him (or at least the one given by HK) is that he has great potential but not a great mentality... that can easily change and every true Jet fan better hope that happens as soon as possible.

Washington could be a contributor for the Rams and deseves a spot on a 53 man roster...

I think most fans are just down on him because he came across as a douchebag in college and on hard knocks. Meanwhile both Woodhead and Washington came across as guys you really wanted to make the team.

I hope Chauncey gets to enjoy his cake this time.

Our current RB situation is all a result of the Leon trade. Joe McKnight is hurting the organization in more ways than one.

I'm happy for the guy that he's getting a paycheck, no matter where it is. We'll be OK though. Apparently we can pass a little now if need be.:)

The more talented a team becomes, better players get traded, cut or picked up. That's the deal with this team. We are loaded. And don't tell me Mcknight sucks after a couple of pre season games. Mr. T knows more on his little finger about talent then all of us combined. I trust them.

    Yes.

I remember days when we were freaking out over who the F*ng holder was.

Now, we're bitching about guys that we had NO PLACE for, becoming players for other teams.
