It was clear from HK that Washington couldn't get a grasp of the whole offense. Maybe St Louis have a simpler system and he will thrive. Good luck to him.
I think this kid is going to be a pretty good RB. Lets try and get him back and swap them McKnight,PLEASE!
I'm really not trying to attack here, but why in the world did you switch the picture of your kid to this one? The last one was not a bad picture in the slightest and some people still attacked it. So you switch it to this? Come on...this has to be considered baiting.
its a numbers game. woodhead and wahsington wre good enough to be part of alot of teams 53 man roster, but since we have greene, LT, mcknight, connor, and richardson, there is no room for him here. maybe next we we can grab one back when t-rich retires, but for now it is what it is
Same reason I have my son in my avatar. He may not be the most handsome chap, but damnit, he's mine and I love him.
Best of luck to him. Seemed like a really hard worker and a good guy. However let's not go crazy. He was solid on special teams not spectacular, if he was he would've been on the active roster regardless of his position. He also was merely average running the ball. He ran hard, and has some ability but he's not a high-end player. He struggled at times doing some simple things when in the backfield. Lastly how can people forget Anthony Lynn towards the end of training camp stating Chauncey was really struggling with the offense. He gave him credit for working incredibly hard to pick it up, but that doesn't change the fact he was struggling at picking up the offense. Again best of luck, but there was no way Chauncey was ever seeing the field unless all other options were exhausted by the Jets after a bunch of injuries (which thankfully hasn't happened yet and hopefully never does).
That was Dennis Thurman, not Rexy.. Anyways, I hope CW goes on to have a stellar career in the NFL with the Rams or anybody. He was certainly a plus for us and he'll contribute for the Rams too. I'm just afraid that now if Greene goes down, we have LT and nobody else in the backfield unless you wanna start giving the ball to the terminator. Then again, we're really not the ground and pound team we used to be anymore.
Do we really need Patrick Turner or Clowney more than C Washington or Woodhead? I think the CS got caught with their pants down on both of them, believing neither would get signed by other teams. Heck, I would have preferred to cut Clemens first. Smith could be the emergency QB. I still don't get the whole 4 TE thing either.
My guess is that they probably just feel that it would be much easier to bring in some other marginal talent (which both Woodhead and Washington are) and plug them into the RB position than to bring in a marginal player and plug them into the WR or TE position. Our scouts seem to have a good eye for RB talent and it's supposed to be a pretty easy "plug & play" position. Hopefully they can get some talent at RB on the practice squad soon.
we only had 3 WRs active for the balt game (smith, BE, and Cotchery) and lok what happened. so the answer is yes we do
