Monday Night Miracle

That was a beautiful week for me.

 

The Monday Night Game was the night after Clemens displayed his WS roid-rage by throwing the broken bat at Piazza. I went to both games - and was much happier after Monday's game ; ) VERY tired Tuesday though.

When people knock end zone seats, this is the game I point to - I was in the end zone with all the 2nd half TD's including of course, Jumbo's. IT WAS FREAKIN' AWESOME.

 

Yeah, I think Al Leiter was at the MNF game, pretty sure I remember that.

 

Plus one!!! Sec 322. Saw that Jumbo had that ball before the officials did.

 

Arnie S was at the game & said during halftime that the NYJs will come back & win the game

 

That game was incredible as was that week but when I look back and see that team I get reminded how they choked away the season so I don't look back as fondly on that game as I should b/c of that.

 

Home in bed with my wife at the time. She was trying to sleep and she couldn't. I don't know that I've ever had a more enjoyable football night than that night. Absofuckinglutely incredible game, and the sheer joy I felt at the end! Priceless!

 

Coles not invited? I bet the Jets didn't want to pay full amount for his airfare and we'd pay for four games...I mean one fourth.

Haha. But ask the fans on the opposite ends how nice it was. :smile:

J/K, of course. LLEZ myself. Still getting used to the view when the ball is at the other end.

 

What I was thinking... She must have 'really into the game' that night...
