NFL players were killing Cutler through tweets questioning his injury his heart and calling him a quiter. WOW what a soap opera.
He is a quitter. I mean, he may have banged up his knee good, but what NFL player takes themselves out of the game... much less the NFCCG? No heart. The Bears were being trashed for deciding to go to the 3rd string guy in that game before the 4th quarter, but to be honest. I thought that was the smartest thing they did. Collins looked horrible coming off the bench and was begging to be picked. Sure, it is risky doing it, but its the championship game and your franchise QB you over paid for is pouting on the bench. What do you really have to lose?
he said he would of kept playing during the post game interview. didnt really look like he was lobbying on the sideline though.
People are always trying to give Sanchez shit for being a Cali kid and its just unfounded. Cutler is a pussy for sure.
Yeah, Mark is a pimp seriously. Tough as nails. 102.2 passer rating yesterday, helluva game. 127.3 in NE. Dude can play in the cold and he's a serious baller.
To think I was lobbying for us to draft Jay Cutler at the time. I'd be pissed as hell right now if that was my QB. It wasn't that he sidelined himself. It's his demeanor once he was on the sidelines. If you have to be on fucking crutches, I expect you to be standing and emotionally supportive. I expect you to be in your backup's ear, helping him. I saw video this morning of him sitting right next to his backup and ZERO communication going on. It was his 'tude on the sideline that got to me. Bears fans have to be super pissed. This is going to be the most anticipated MRI in sports history.
One thing that I've noticed about Cutler before this game is that he has a bland personality. He never shows strong emotion one way or the other. When the Bears won and he played well, he shrugged it off. When they lost, he didn't seem to mind. He's not a rah-rah type of guy who wears his emotions on his sleeve. Whether it's fair or not, Cutler will always be branded as a quitter.
News is that he has an MCL tear. . . . whether or not he actually has an MCL tear. That said, there are an awful lot of NFL bitches sitting at home on their sofas with a lot of things to say.
Yea I was thinking that, and I think Urlacher brought it up in the press conference, calling them a bunch of jealous players that couldn't make it as far as they did. He defended Cutler, calling him one of the toughest players on the team.
If it was an MCL injury, getting out of the game was the good thing to do. Not being able to plant on that kneee, run or cut on it, would have made him a completely ineffective sittign duck to the packers rush. People are quick to jump on him when he's down because he treats the media like the bunch of biased dick that they are.
