Is there any players that may be available that could help our team?

The way our season is going, there's no reason to waste the draft picks.

They should trade for Aaron Rodgers and Haloti Ngata.

Can the Jets really risk their future trading for Rodgers though? It will probably cost them at least 4 1st round picks and Sanchez. Seems a little risky to me.

carson palmer would be good to be the backup qb. right now, if sanchez is off or gets hurt, you have nobody behind him. if it were summer, i would be using mc elroy as the primary backup in spite of his 7th round draft status.

whether palmer would even come here ( given shotty's game plans) or mike brown trading him to us are the unlikely senarios.

the thought of trading a 2nd or 3rd round pick (they're asking for a 1st) and paying a backup QB 10 million is beyond stupid

We'll just trade Mason for Rodgers and Eric Smith for Ngata. It's a fair trade.

I'd trade Brian Schottenheimer for Sean Payton.

(But then Saints will block that kind of trade anyway... nor will Payton come to be an OC)

we would only have to pay whatever the bengals guarantee doesn't cover. they would be willing to move him to get out of the contract? if not, then we just don't trade. heck, we gave up a 3rd to phiily for lito shepard who only lasted one year and is out of the league. how many picks did jenkins cost us? he spent most of his time injured!

Are you kidding me.....!??!! Eric Smiths value is beyond anyone's in the entire NFL, it would be like trading away Babe Ruth, just not a good idea.

    I'll bite.

Who do you suggest we should trade for, and what should we give up?

Realistically, this franchise can't afford to cough up any draft picks....we need to fill a lot more holes than we thought we did, coming out of training camp. I don't think there is a quick fix out there.

This isn't a Braylon Edwards trade away from fixing this offense, or finding a similar player on defense to change it all.

And then you have to teach that player the scheme, and it'll take them until week 10 to get things right, all the while trying to fix your team that just showed signs of everything coming together.

the only way we make a trade is if the following happens

Player on a shit team: Beats his wife, Arrested, Drugs, Fight, etc.

If none of this happens...no trade.

I don't know. I don't have the time to follow all the other teams. I do listen to NFL radio during the day, and I heard Seattle was unhappy with Curry. I don't know if O'Connell is a viable back up, as I don't believe Brunell is there to really play football. If not Clausen/Anderson in Carolina may fit in. Laron Landry in Washington is backing up it appears.

Again, I don't have the time to follow football everyday, so I am asking this Discussion board.
