I was feeling so good about the Cards' situation and then it all just blew up. Motte has always driven me nuts. He blew so many games as a middle reliever. I've been shocked he's had such success as a closer as of late. Figures he'd blow it at the worst possible time.

I just hope they can steal at least one in Texas to get it back to STL.

I think they'll win one in Texas.

Huge swing with that loss. St. Louis would've been a solid favorite to win the WS with a win, obviously.

    Instead:

    1061 Texas Rangers (Series) -175
1062 St. Louis Cardinals (Series) +155

Next two matchups don't look good, as the Cardinals staff is weak past Carpenter and Garcia.

    Lohse vs. Harrison
    Jackson vs. Holland

    Carpenter vs. Wilson

    Pujols continuing to tee off.

Now has a three run homer and a two run homer tonight.

    14-6 St. Louis

Pujols ties the WS record with three homers in a game.

Man, he's going to cost a fortune.

There's no way he isn't on the juice list. I really hope he gets exposed soon already.

Nick Punto being an every day player is a bit of a joke.

Pudgy utility infielder who can't hit or run.

St. Louis really only has three hitters, which makes their run that much more amazing.

St. Louis has stranded the world on base tonight. It will burn them in the end.

Why hit and run? Why? LaRussa is a good coach, but he out-coaches himself a lot.

Game 6 postponed due to rain in St. Louis.

Makes a big difference for potential pitching matchups.
