Pretty simple. How confident are you that the Jets will beat the Patriots? Patriots beat the Jets few weeks ago, but they haven't won in NY in a while now. They are also on a losing streak while Jets are on a winning streak. The OL is protecting Sanchez much better, and the running game is now visible too. We are doing a great job stopping the teams through the air and did a fantastic job stopping one of the leagues top rushers (yardage wise) on Sunday. Patriots are struggling on the ground on basically both sides of the ball. They can not defend the pass, but they have Brady who can score on quick strikes to overcome defensive woes they have. If Jets can prolong drives, they win. Very simple. The fewer chances Brady gets, the more frustrated he is. He's made a few bad mistakes and Jets can bring the heat and force him to force throws.
Im not sure how confident I am, but this is by far the most confident I felt going into a Patriots game under Rex Ryan.
I confident we can win. Its by no means an easy game, but this team is up to the task if the play consistantly.
I am getting very uncomfortable with all of this tempting of Fate. She's a cruel mistress who does not take kindly to being abused or taken for granted.
http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2011100909/2011/REG5/jets@patriots#menu=highlights&tab=recap I just re watched the highlights from the first game, being that I had somehow completely wiped it from my memory. After watching I remembered why everyone was so pissed off on here. Our defense really sucked during that game, both in coverage and against the run. That being said, we still had an opportunity to win that game with a 4th quarter stop and then TD drive to tie. If we can get the run game going and also stop their run we can do this. I also expect to get another nice return out of Joe McKnight.
Every Jets/Patriots game is pretty much a toss-up, but I'm leaning towards the Jets because of home field advantage and our steady improvement over the past 3 games. Let's call it 55%
I'm about as confident in them beating the Pats on Sunday as I was in all 3 of their games last year. I think those results also predict the potential range of results we might see.
Im confident the Jets will play with fire and passion, and are going to be a very physical team on sunday night. I'm not usually one for believing in historical trends and think there is a first for everything, but damn I am nervous about the pats gameplanning the hell out of this game, and finding some kind of weakness in our defense, there is a reason they havent lost three straight games in almost a decade. We need to protect the ball, and force turnovers. I would absolutely love to see somebody force a Law Firm fumble. I just want to shut the damn pats fans up about his never fumbled ever thing. It will happen eventually, I just want it to be us that does it.
How can you not be confident? We've been perfect at home, our defense just destroyed a top offense, and the Pats are reeling. Let's take this game.
that bills offense is not elite. its inflated based on playing pussy defenses all year. They are good, but they don't have the weapons to be elite. That said our defense has been lights out for 6 straight quarters, and played very well against brady and the pats earlier in the year.
Yes indeed. I think I'm going to spend some money I don't have and get myself a ticket so I can scream my fuckin lungs out live. Jets are going to do it. I'm 90+...
