I'd love to see Haley ripping Mark a new asshole. Rex doesn't have the offensive knowledge to really get into the players on that side. With Haley and Sparano coaching the offense and Rex the defense that is pretty perfect. Adds a lot of coaching experience and leadership on the offense and Rex can focus on masterminding that defense.

Im curious to what they are going to do with this draft though.

Haley is a volatile personality. You think a guy like Holmes wants a coach in his face screaming at him? It may be what he needs, but I don't think it will go over well with some players. The Jets have gotten used to Rex being their buddy. Haley may be too far on the other end of the spectrum.

I'm not against this. Haley is a tough fiery guy with a good offensive mind.
Sparano is another fiery guy who seems to get through to his player very well and has a strong influence on everybody around him.

    I hope it works out.

A bit of volatility might bring some balance to the Get Along Gang they had on the offensive side. I wasn't on board with Haley as the stand-alone OC for this offense, but he won't be in charge of the whole operation. Westhoff does his own share of screaming in faces. Lack of discipline means sometimes you need a shock to the system.

And that's just it, right? Seems clear that Sanchez has not just lost the confidence of the fan base (one wonders if he ever had it to begin with; unfairl or not) and now seems to have lost it in his own locker room. We all want to see him be held accountable and to be more disciplined than he has been, and frankly, better coached, and more mature.

It doesn't get much more accountable than Haley. The more I think about this, the more it HAS to happen, and the more curious I get about how they handle the QB Coach position.

I am going to be a bit disappointed if this doesn't happen.

If anything, having 2 former head coaches (not very good ones but still experienced) should be a good resource for Rex, because we all know that he needs to become more of a head coach and less of a defensive coordinator.

I was just thinking earlier how crazy it would be to have 3 guys on your team who were all head coaches last year, all in the afc none the less !

It would be a great thing, you know Rex loves bouncing ideas off of people and taking suggestions. The more brain power the better.

Anyone have any recent news regarding this? Tweets, Articles, etc.? This is really making me nervous. We need this guy on our staff.

I think it's interesting if Haley joins the fold the Jets would have two former Head Coaches albeit not great ones, but, would put some pressure on Rex to get this ship righted.

These seem to be the people Rex wants here, finally we'll see some cohesion

If they can't win a Super Bowl with 4 head coaches it's gonna be a epic fail!

This reeks of too many cooks in the kitchen.

I'm not so sure that Tom Moore will be sticking around. I'd be pretty surprised if he did, actually.

Just Imagine if we brought in Peyton on top of that, thats pretty much like having ANOTHER coach. What a cluster fuck of an offense that would be

The fact that they are looking to bring in a coaching tandem for the offense completely rules Peyton Manning out of the equation. He's not an option.

    If he ever was.
