Yeah, he was an alternate that played because Brees had an elbow injury.

A point about Manning. If he comes here, it makes no difference if there is 1 OC, 2 OC's, or 17 OC's. He calls his own plays, and will do that here as well. There is no incertainty as far as he would be concerned.

The coaches will help him get ready for gameday, but the decisions will most likely be his. So these changes are a non-issue as far as getting Manning.

All Haley and Sparano need is a NFL QB.

Romo? Sorry, I was trying to puzzle out your quasi-English post and thought I had done it well. Can you elaborate on:

"He had Romo the last year and the first he went to the pro bowl."

You said Dallas had a nobody quarterback and I pointed out he had a pro bowl QB(Romo) in his last year there..pretty straight forward..easily understood.

Are you serious? I don't even need to respond to you, because I'm sure plenty of others will.

Serious about what? That Romo played for Dallas? That Romo played for Haley in Haley's last year in Dallas? That Haley's last year in Dallas was Romo's first of three pro bowls? Yeah, I'm serious.

Who developed Romo? Who picked him up, who worked with him in practice and who did he have his FIRST success under? You just need to look for reasons to hate anything the Jets do despite how illogical it may be.

I, like many others, have no clue what the hell you're trying to say. But it seems like you're trying to discredit Haley/Sparano in Dallas because they had a pro bowl QB. What you're not understanding is that they made him a pro bowl QB. He wasn't some gunslinger that the Cowboys signed. He started there, he grew and developed there.

Romo was a nobody QB until he got the start after 6 games in 2006 when Bledsoe was pulled.

So calling Romo a pro bowl QB when his 1st start was 6 games into a season is kinda putting the cart before the horse - don't you think?

He wasn't a pro bowl QB until after the season and an injury to Brees.

Thank you. Like I said, I didn't even need to respond to the original comment because I knew plenty of others would. It's too logical.

That was my point, he made him into a pro bowl QB in his last year there. Just saying they had a nobody QB gives no credit at all for what Haley did.

That was THE most ass backwards, round about way I've ever seen someone take to make such a simple point.

You might be right..maybe it was...anyway I am in favor of Haley, I hope they get him. If they don't I still think they need more than just Sparano.
