Sure im sick as hell, im not happy, but we are in a race. We can go write all the wrongs next week and stay in this divisional lead. Definitely something to look forward to imo, anyone not looking forward to week 5 is a fool!
There is no way you can look at this team and be even the least bit optimistic. We have played very poorly for the past 3 weeks, even with things going our way. Santonio Holmes will most likely be out for a while. The running game is shot. The defense is average at best. And of course, we have Sanchez playing his worst string of games in his career. I'm usually pretty optimistic about this team, but shit happens. When you guys look at this team, do you honestly feel they are a Superbowl contender?
Wow..we play one of the worst games of the Rex era and this is what comes to your mind? Do you even watch the games or just look at the standings. At this point going 8-8 might be a stretch.
Technically we're still in first place because of division record but it's obviously not going to last. It's just something for the head-in-the cloud fans to hang their hat on for another week.
The Jets will be lucky to finish 3rd this year. Not only that but there is a damn good chance this team is looking up at Buffalo and Miami the next few years. Right now this team has no future and desperately needs to start over with a new GM, QB, HC, etc.
Absolutely right, we are 2-2 heading into week 5. The season is far from over but the Jets have a lot of work to do to correct these wrongs. They have got to start stopping the run on defense. Foster will run for 200+ yards if they dont.
I admire your optimism; but you can't watch your team play that poorly in every facet of the game ,even against a quality opponent, and not suspect that it's going to be a disaster of a season.
simple. Jets fans have such an inferiority complex to the Patriots that they automatically think New England is in first place regardless of record or tiebreakers.
im optimistic going into next week, Rex and the coaching staff are gonna go hard on this team in practice there mad they got humiliated the Texans are undefeated and might overlook us to a degree. We have a great record against the Texans at home as well. I don't think it's a long shot that we beat the Texans next week
All im saying is that the season is far from over. Monday night is still a huge game for us. Things dont look good at all but the Jets have to figure it out and still go out and compete.
