Scott did an interview with Jeanette Coakley on the SNY Post Game Show. I figure the talk about a boycott was bs.
Same, I would have been down for the boycott personally. Don't give those bastards anything to work with. Also, Bart Scott has a broken toe, probably why he didn't outrun Mulligan.
You guys seriously over analyze every friggin comment ever recorded by the media. This means NOTHING. ZERO. ZILCH, NADA. We know he's not as fast as he used to be. That's kind of how aging works. People are seriously calling the guy a cancer, after all he's done here? There's a reason why the fanbase makes me sick to my stomach. Stop worrying about what people say to the media. It really does mean nothing and we all know they stop at nothing to find a tiny piece of a quote that COULD be interpreted negatively. This proves it. Bart Scott makes a joke and guess who blows it out of proportion? I was glad Scott got tackled before scoring. It gave the offense a chance to do something and they need as much help and reps as they can get at this point.
jeez would you guys take a breath and listen to yourselves? he called him a sell out. how you could not take this as a joke is beyond me. especially considering bart did a post game interview... fucking hell dont you get that this kind of reaction is the reason the media in ny sucks so much? this is absolutely nothing, and is laughable that somebody would report the stupid things players say to each other in the locker room in jest.
Obviously everyone roots and cheers for him to make it to the end zone, myself included, but I want to see the offense prove they can get it done without having to rely on the D to do everything. It's not that ridiculous at all. If our offense doesn't get it together asap, the season is done for even our D plays lights out and scores every game. I didn't mind see the offense get a short field to work with.
I agree, and also with the point Barcs made (NOT the one about the O needing work, though, heh). On one hand posters here know the media slants things, and there have been tens of thousands of posts here, literally, where the poster complains about the media. And yet when we hear of some thing "reported" meaning filtered by some hack sportswriter about one of the Jets, people here go ape shit based on that alone, and then they want to cut the player, say bad things about him, it just gets crazy in no time at all. Lighten up and don't assume some "report" is totally true before you start selling out on a player on the roster.
