I mentioned in the other thread that Berman's colleague was on the board of trustees for Columbia U with Robert Kraft. They had a 'chance' meeting, but certainly there has to be more to it. I was called not credible mentioning that perhaps Berman was not partial as I suggested. Networks of people do this day in and day out. Now this little story Ok you gumshoes in the NY area, here's a trail. Was bermans buddy there, does Kraft have a house near Berman in the Hamptons? Next question, how did Judge Berman get selected to the NFLs case in NY where they filed ?
Do we have to have a steelers fan constantly talking about the patriots on this message board? It got old a long time ago.
I think there is something here and unbelievably bad judgment (at the least) by Berman. Just a few days after making a big decision for the Patriots he's seen in the Hamptons hobnobbing with their owner. But it was the venue the NFL chose and played legal games to get. I don't know if Berman as judge was a random selection. So the conspiracy theorists can take a seat on that one. But for me Berman shouldn't have gone to the party if he knew Kraft was going to be there.
Well, we'll see how the appeal goes. I don't know if Brady has an iota of guilt about this. Probably not. He didn't gloat and was contrite during his presser with the media. Reports were that he performed well at the hearings. Like Kraft he can lie with a straight face. He's learned a lot from Kraft and Belichick.
And if Berman did have a prior relationship with Kraft he should not have been the judge on this case. I'm not saying this out of sour grapes because I don't think that Berman's decision was based on any favoritism. But since it was a legal decision decided on technicalities isn't that a technicality.
And a Trump hat in Tom Brady's locker. WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?! lol jesus christmas Tells me that many of the "chosen people" were there. Kraft is a mega israel supporter.
Apparently Berman and Stephen Case were really tight... Last week, Bart Hubbuch of the Post noted as an “nteresting factual nugget” on Twitter that “Richard Berman’s former law-firm colleague Stephen Case is on Columbia’s BOT Emeriti with … Robert Kraft.” So I did some research. (For a change.) And it turns out that, indeed, Case and Kraft both belong to the 38-member Board of Trustees Emeriti at Columbia. (That group is separate from the 24-member Board of Trustees that governs the school.) Case currently serves as Managing Director and General Counsel for Emerald Development Managers. He previously spent more than 35 years at the law firm Davis Polk LLP. And Judge Berman did indeed work for that firm. For four years. From 1970. To 1974. In the 41 years since then, there has been no professional connection between Judge Berman and Case. ...Also, Martha Stewart, Harry Connick, Jonathan Tisch, and Jimmy Buffet were there. Must've been some pure evil going on.
Doesn't mean jack squat, could be personal. Kinda like your college buddies you met in school for class......now kept at continuing friendship many years later
Oprah, Martha Stewart and Alec Baldwin? This "party" was obviously the Hamptons version of Bohemian Grove. Where's Alex Jones when you need him?
Do you really think this bugs a patriots fan? The "investigation" into whether TB12 was more probably than not generally aware of activities was thrown into the garbage by a federal judge. You're upset enough to think you can zing someone, which makes it a good moment. I mean, I'm just trying to explain how it goes if it makes you feel better by all means keep saying it. Had things worked out differently it would have been a bother, as it is, no.
