We'll just have to agree to disagree. He is slow and not that mobile. I know that he moves around in the pocket or at least did at UCLA. I'm not sure that he'd be able to do that with the Jets unless the OL is a lot better.

Darnold reminds me more of Rodgers than Rosen does. Darnold and Rodgers both didn't have much experience in college and had bad mechanics but were about as athletic as it gets for a pocket passer. Rosen reminds me more of a pure passer like Matt Ryan.

I actually was comping Rosen to Rodgers more on the football smarts not the physical style of play.

LOL so you think Macc traded a 2nd round pick for every 2 feet of QB? Too bad Mayfield wasn't 4' tall we coulda saved a 2nd round pick!

So Rosen, Allen and Darnold are 7 feet tall? What pick would we have to throw in for those last 3 inches?

But would the Browns or Giants really take the player most ready to play when they have Taylor and Eli respectively? Or, would they take the quarterback with the highest ceiling, even if he needs to be developed?

I feel that Rosen doesn't make sense for the Giants. They are looking for a possible successor to Eli in a couple years. Rosen will be able to play almost right away. It doesn't make sense for them to take him with another couple years of Eli to rot away on the bench. I think they'd prefer a boom or bust guy like Allen or guy like Darnold who will be ready in a year or so down the road.

I also wonder if the Browns would take the risk drafting Rosen, the guy who specifically said he didn't want to play in Cleveland. They'd have to draft him and try to trade him for another team that picked QB, assuming another team even considers it. Browns set themselves up for a lose/lose situation if they do that.
