New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson will not be suspended by the NFL for his arrests over the past two years, a league spokesman confirmed to Austin Knoblauch of NFL.com.

The decision comes after Anderson pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of reckless driving in June stemming from a Jan. 19 arrest. Anderson was sentenced to six months of non-reporting probation in the case.

Anderson was initially facing multiple felony counts before Florida prosecutors dropped the charges. Anderson was arrested after he allegedly failed to yield during a traffic stop.

In May 2017, he was arrested for allegedly pushing a police officer at an event in Miami, but the charge was eventually dropped.

They looked at his stats and assumed they had already suspended him.

IMO until Darnold gets to where we hope he gets to as a player Robbie is the best player on the team. If there's one player on the Jets that gives coordinators nightmares it's Robbie Anderson dude has the speed to burn ANYONE.

Unfortunately due to the nature of his position he needs someone to throw him the ball he can't pass it to himself.

It’s pretty bad when even Jets fans think/want the Jets player to be suspended lol and he isn’t.

Then you see guys get half season bans for weed

They should ban him for a year like they have Josh Gordon. NFL is really messed up in their suspensions.

Gordon has had at least three or four substance related suspensions since he joined the NFL in addition to some legal difficulties - what is it in Anderson's history that you would find equates to that of Gordon?

Quincy is a better all around wr. I do think they’re a perfect complement to each other and Darnold will eventually get on the same page with him

Being the fastest doesn't make you the best. Speed is one of many skills that makes a WR. If speed was the only thing, every WR would be an Olympic sprinter. Enunwa wouldn't be in the league, and so would other top WR.

Robbie is a head case, doesn't appear to be a good team mate, runs limited routes, is not strong, and he gets frustrated too easily and allows it to effect his game.

If he's the jets best player, we're screwed for many more years.
