That all this playoff talk is really irritating. I mean I want them to make the playoffs don't get me wrong. But everybody gets ahead of everything and talks playoffs with 2 games remaining. Both of these teams are going to play hard, bad record or not, to take away our chance. I don't know about you guys but I wish everybody could calm down, take it one game a time. Half of these people are them who were trashing the Jets months ago, now that everything is going well they are back to being a fan. I don't even know how to explain but does anyone catch my drift.
With 2 games remaining, the entire league is talking playoffs. Should we wait to talk playoff scenarios until after week 17? What's the point in that.
nope, don't catch your drift. we are fans, not players If someone wants to take about super bowl...go for it. I set my expectation level at "if", but am excited to talk about a potential playoff birth. why be a fan if you can't be excited about the post-season entering week 16, that is what all the regular season games are for...getting into the dance.
This thread would've been great when we were 2-1. But Dude, We are in the thick of a playoff race and are heavily dependant on what other teams do because we shat our pants vs Buffalo. If you hate all the playoff talk you could always goto Finheaven.com
The Jets are going to play hard too. I hope we got that Buffalo funk out of the way, and we continue to play sound football. I think the Jets should win both of these games and hopefully advance to the playoffs. Play offs or not the Jets should win both of these games, and that says a lot about the AFC in general. The NFC is garbage.
i dunno, i tend to agree to some extent. Obviously playoffs are a distinct possibility, but I dont like building these games up to the point where theyre your entire season. Obviously the reality of the situation is that to make the playoffs youve gotta win both, but really theyre just two games out of the schedule, nomore important than any other we played... for example had the Jets won at jacksonville theyd pretty much have a spot locked up right now, not to mention buffalo. While the playoffs are great, I like to be able to watch and enjoy the game without worrying about the repercussions of who beats who or who has what tiebreakers and whatnot. So yea, the constant talk about playoffs can be kindof a downer.
Yeah, but it is quite simple to keep track of now. Jets win two games and the Jaguars lose one game. (There are other ways for the Jets to get in, but that is the most likely way.)
