4-12, honestly. this is the lowest or least hopeful ive ever been as a 25+ year fan. I said if they screwed it up with Sam they will never get it right. At the very best - Sam is looking like the 15th best QB if everything is perfect (and it never will). The Coach is a mess and will never be good - It was a disaster from the start. Signing Bell was a joke. They have the worst skill position players across 32 teams. Yea they have a new OL but 5 of them that never played with eachother. yippy.

Another tear down coming end of the year boys..........top 3-4 pick next year again. new coach new QB same team.. Prove me wrong

I said 6-10. While I think the OL will be better as others have stated it will be awhile for crystallize during that time Sam will be in the same position he was in last year - running for his life. I believe GW will work wonders again with the D,,,,

However, my biggest concern is and has been the HC... I have little faith that he is the right guy and there are no excuses this year because he now has the type of players he wanted (remember the meetings with JD and staff) so we shall see if he is part of the problem or part of the solution.

    4-12.

O line has never played together and has no preseason. Yes, they're an upgrade over last year, but circumstances beyond their control might lead to them performing to the level of last year's group. Sam has limited weapons and won't be able to make the jump to the level we need him to, especially considering he's stuck with Gase again as coach. Gregg Williams will have us competitive with the defense, but this is going to be a long season. Hopefully Douglas is given the ability at the end of the season to do the kind of renovations that are necessary (i.e. a new coach) for this team to finally get headed in the right direction.

I think the draft and free agency signings were excellent. On the other hand, Adams is gone and Mosley is vacationing for a year. Finally, the schedule is tough! 6-10.

Next year, after another strong draft and free agent signings, the Jets will be a force.

Lol we'll never recover from trading away Jamal Adams ala our best player since Revis. Kid has not even entered his prime but yet already a 2x All-Pro.

A great Seattle franchise now has him while our lowly Jets lost him.

We will draft two busts like Gholston/Louisville Slugger while Jamal leads that Seattle D to another SB while entering the HOF.

This Franchise sucks. Seattle fleeced us lol

Adams was a greedy, whiny, me first POS in the weeks leading up to the trade. Good riddance.

Why? Because he hated Gase and our Johnson owners, kind of like the rest of other Jet fans? Did he talk worse about the Jets than Jet fans do? Nope.

P.S: I know for a fact you would not call that man a POS to his face in a dark Alley lololol

    3-13 @ best possibly 1-15 (1996ish).

His reaction when he learned that the GM had the audacity to listen to offers for him was a bad sign. The last thing we need is a 20+ million dollar headache who will demand a raise every time another safety surpasses his contract.

Na. The last thing we need is Jamal Adams to enter the HOF while our crap front office drafts two more busts with Seattle's two first round picks.

I'm done with Adams talk but we got robbed 3-13 @ best. Our Defense will become a JOKE without Adams and Mosley.

Adams was willing to play this game. Mosley? Not so much. Lol.

I hope Sam gets SCARED of the virus and sits out.

What about the 20 deep SEC dogs on defense alone? They all gonna forget about their special Florida DNA?

This is true if Douglas is incompetent, but he seems really sharp so far.

Week 1: @Buffalo I think we win. Find a way to pay them back for last year week 1. Better coach and defense but I think a surprise win.

Week 2: San Fran: 1-0. I think San Fran has the Super Bowl hangover. We play them close and pull it out in the end. 2-0

Week 3: @Colts: 2-0: Though we play well against the Colts and Riivers I think we lose by 10 on the road. 2-1

Week 4: Broncos 2-1: This is a tough one. I think the Broncos are an up and coming team and can make noise. Their offense can give us fits. Much like the Browns last year we lose ugly. 2-2

Week 5: Cardinals 2-2: Much like the Broncos I like where they are going. That being said I think we compete with them and play better against them. Being home gives us an advantage. 3-2.

Week 6: @Chargers: Much like the Jets I think the Chargers are similar to us with a better defense. If it was home I'd say a win. I think we could give Taylor or Herbert trouble but I think the Chargers pull it out. 3-3

Week 7: Bills: They return the week 1 loss. 3-4

Week 8: @chiefs; Visions of a few years ago. I think Fitzpatrick had 6 picks. Similar outcome. 3-5

Week9: Patriots: Defense will give us trouble but I think we find a way to win. 4-5

week 10: @Dolphins: Close game but the Fins find a way to beat their old coach again. 4-6

week 12: Dolphins: Though a bye week in between. Back to Back with the Fins. I say the Jets find a way. Tough to beat a team twice in a row. 5-6

Week 13: Raiders: Raiders are on the up swing but I think it being a home game we find a way. 6-6

Week 14: @SEAHAWKS: See Chiefs game. Tough travel. Good team. Loss. 6-7

Week 15: @Rams: Tough back to back road west coast games. If the Rams was the first game I think they'd win but tough on the back end. Loss. 6-8

Week 16: Browns: Tough game but I think we pay them back from last year's mess. 7-8

Week 17: @pats: Might be similar to the Bills win from last year where the Pats play the backups and we win. That being said in a real world game we lose. 7-9.

Some early ups this season but very quickly evens up and we fall just short of 8-8. I think Darnold takes the next step. Becton grows into the LT position and Mims, Herndon, Crowder start forming a consistent receving crew for Darnold. Head into the offseason to upgrade the OL again, get more RBS and WRs. Plus add more edge and corners. Year 51 of a rebuild.

    3-13 @ best.

I'm usually a homer. But not anymore.

Losing Adams and CJ Mosley sitting out has taken all my excitement away from 2020's football season.

    3-13. Maybe 1-15 (1996ish).

    We stink.
