How bout his burst on 4th and 1? I admit he was better today, but not much. Nice run on for the TD. Let’s not get carried away. It was a step forward though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Meh...Perrine is a 4th Round pick up playing for the worst HC and Team in NFL As far as I am concerned he contributes to Tank for TL so God bless
Let's give the guy some time. This was his first ever game with meaningful touches. This is a 4th round pick, who needs some time to develop, and at least he is now getting some PT without any drop off as compared to what we got from Bell throughout his Jets stay.
Didn't most pre-draft scouting reports have Perrine pegged as a serviceable back-up? I'm not sure what everyone here was expecting but it couldn't have been the second coming of Barry Sanders.
I was actually being funny at the time, but he actually did look good today, even Gore looked pretty good between the tackles. Not sure what happened in the second half!
Yea seriously. Gore is a all time great lol. We can all calm down. RB needs to bet serviceable. Rather be with Perine than spend 2nd pick on Saquon to tear acl
JD's first draft class who played today against the Bills: Becton, Mims, Ashtyn, Perine, Bryce Hall, & Mann (and FAs Perriman, Van Roten, McGovern, Fant, Lewis). Has this ever happened to us before? You know, where draft picks and FAs actually make the team and play? We also have Jabari Zuniga & James Morgan still under wraps. Did any of our UDFAs play today?
Buffalo knew the plays before they were run. No adjustments. They adjusted, we stayed same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I get that...however going into half time the Jets were more or less dominating. It was the Bills that needed to adjust, which they did. What did you want Gase to do? Make adjustment from what was already working pretty well? Just curious....
Switch up the plays, try some screens, reverses, etc. get the ball out quicker, some draw plays, use shotgun, 2 tight ends... anything to change it up. On some plays by the time Darnold got the snap, he was already pummeled or running for his life. Buffalo was not worried what the jets could run, cause they knew. Maybe darnold could have audibled, but as we found out he was not allowed in previous games. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have not seen anything amazing or unique I’m just guessing we are all so starved for hope and talent that we see this saltine cracker and are loving it
Unfortunately Darnold is now the sacrificial lamb for this season. He's like the reliever that has to stay in a 12-1 game and get shelled because the bullpen is taxed and you can't burn your good relievers in a blowout. It's not going to get better for him.
Listening to that interview he sounded defeated, same tone as Gase... have to wonder he is not allowed to audible, otherwise why mention it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
