MLB has let the dodgers now sign multiple players with minimal effect to their budget and cap. You let this stuff happen, there's like 4-5 teams that will ever be able to compete. Plus it's such an obvious loop hole, again I'm surprised it was not addressed in some way. Defferals will always exist, but you can't defer an infinite amount like the dodgers are doing.
It's awful and what's worse, I could see them doing something crazy like signing Soto on top of what's already the best roster in baseball by a good amount.
