I did hear a funny thing today though - I was listening to a politics podcast and they were saying about how both political parties on the US are unpopular and someone questioned whether this was likely to impact voting - and one of the commentators said something along the lines of "just because you don't like what your party is doing doesn't mean you aren't going to support them - I mean how many Jets fans do you think actually like their team"
Was I? Or do you just get very weirdly defensive over random things? I can take a bad game. He’s bad, he’s going to have bad games and anyone expecting otherwise is foolish. This wasn’t even NFL level.
the few times I watched him I was never impressed (and that is taking into account that I always liked him as I watched the Netflix show QB1 before he entered the league and I thought he was the most likeable of all the HS QBs that featured so wanted us to draft him and wanted him to be good - it just doesn't seem to have panned out).
Today's game certainly was not confidence inspiring, and with concussion to deal with on top, it's not a great outlook. But I do want to see what the rest of the season looks like or at least a few more games (until we enter tankathon mode) before declaring a bust.
Also was that my whipping boy Quincy Williams that let James Cook juke him out for the long TD run he sucks oh he made one play and celebrated hard though so Tony Homo could praise him
In fairness, celebrating when there's absolutely no reason to do so is one of the few things the Jets are actually consistently good at.
And came somewhat close to punching a ref across the field. It's only a matter of time before he accidentally cleans someone's clock because he doesnt look before he does that dumb uppercut celebration.
In the 2nd quarter.. He was cooked after the 1st drive. Hard to bench $30M but Glenn should have bit the bullet and brought in Tyrod much earlier. The Concussion was the break Glenn needed to get JF off the field.
This is one of those games where the coaching staff needs to take the game tape, flush it down the toilet and tell the team to move on. You only get one of those a year, and it sucks to waste it this early but I’d do it now.

We left at the beginning of the 4th Qtr. Only Bills fans were left in the stadium. The flood of green and white fans pouring out the turnstiles was a testament to how bad Jets performed today. Tailgate was superb! Grilled Teriyaki Tuna Steaks with grilled pineapple and brown rice! Plenty of happy fans and beer!
I took the risk of missing a epic come from behind Jets win I headed for the exit after Fields' second fumble after Buffalo had made the game 30-3. I think it was Fields' 17 passing yards in the fourth quarter that didn't inspire much confidence in a Jets come from behind victory on this day.
