Number 1 seed on the line for the Bills. Number 1 pick on the line for the Jets.

Oh, I don't know, everyone laughed at Detroit back in the day. Who's laughing now? Remember the Alamo has been changed to remember The New Dump! GO JETS!

Absolutely. That was the day my diehard fandom died. They haven’t gotten me back since. This sure isn’t helping.

“The New York Jets, lead by head coach Aaron Glenn (the first Jets head coach to start his tenure at 0-5) became the first team in NFL history to start 0-5 and have 0 takeaways”.

The most concerning part to me is the lack of hustle from the team.
mOn Breece Hall’s 22 yard run, Ruckert was literally standing flat footed with a defender in front of him. He does nothing at all, just stands there until it’s too late when he realizes Hall was running past. Should’ve been a TD.

On the 4th down play Fields audibles from a sneak to a rollout pass to Beck (bad audible and play design, but I digress), Beck runs into Fashanu, and then just like jogs around the guy and finally once the ball is thrown he suddenly shows a burst of speed to the spot he’s supposed to be but he’s too late. He’s the only receiving option on this play design and he should’ve know that. Once he ran into Fashanu he should have been in overdrive to get around him and get to his spot. He gave up instead and half assed it.

Justin Fields handed the ball to Breece on an option. Besides the handoff being wrong, Breece found 3 defenders in his face and changed direction. Fields had a prime opportunity to block one pf the guys and you can even see him think about it, but he just let him go.

On a DAL TD to Ferguson (1st one) you can see Sherwood has a chance to at least mitigate the damage, but he jogs the whole way.

Javante Williams TD, you can see Cisco on the backside jogging across the line. Probably doesn’t make the play anyway, but certainly not while jogging half ass.

I can summarize this alot easier by pointing out players that look like they’re giving their all- Sauce, Garret, Mason Taylor, Isaiah Davis, and the OL. That’s it. Everyone else on the team seems to play to their assignment and then give up. They stand there or just jog once their assignment is over. Nobody is looking to play to that extra level. No one sprinting to make a backside play, no one sprinting off their covg to help tackle a receiver they weren’t covering. No one out there looks even remotely hungry to do anything more than what the play assigns them to do. In other words, they’re not playing to the whistle. That’s a lack of effort and discipline, and it’s a direct reflection of how they’re coached.

Yeah man. Everyone’s jogging around out there. I don’t ever remember seeing that or hearing about it around the league barring the last two games of a season after a coach got fired or was going to get fired.

This is a really bad look for Glenn and friends.

It is DEFINITELY a bad look on coaching. The players have already given up on the season and on AG it seems.

The other thing that is concerning to me about AG and his staff is that we’ve now watched 5 games and we continue to see the SAME EXACT PROBLEMS. Like literally NOTHING has been addressed. I hear all the talk about how they are emphasizing it in practice or how they talk about it in practice. I have no idea what the fuck they are doing in practice but whatever it is, it’s not getting through to the players.

I get we are not the most talented of teams. I get that if you have so many problems, you can’t fix all of them at once. But shit for the love of god man, pick ONE and fucking FIX IT. ONE! Attack pre snap penalties. Attack fumbling. Attack takeaways. Something. Pick just one and fix it.

But we are seeing the same issues 5 games in and counting now and nothing has changed.

We are not THIS bad of a team. To me, it’s very clear that this coaching staff is NOT elevating the team or getting the most from it. They are coaching at its level.

    That’s not a good sign.
