Maybe expectations of the press are different on your side of the pond.

Who is going to put up a couple of billion for a Jets Stadium in London?

Chiaroscuro. I see you have been paying attention, a rarity with kids today.

They aren't named gutter press for nothing.

True journalism died a long, long time ago.

I find myself mesmerized by the broad in the red circle.

The befuddled look on her face. The awkward posture, one leg askance. The unfortunate choice of footwear. The ill fitting jacket.

    Everything about her screams “Jets.”

    Thank you for sharing this.

Long lost relative confirmed by DNA left on the rim of an absinthe glass. It's up for auction, but it's a seller's market. I personally wouldn't do it.

I'm not a huge fan of Impressionism. People act like it's the only kind of art there is. I respect it, of course, but who I am a huge fan of, hands down, is Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Holy shit, could that guy draw, color and immediacy is unrivaled.

This is - yawn - Degas, but hey, these two women, it's some story, I gotta tell ya. Anyway, I'm definitely with Bugs Bugs Bunny: "What an ultramaroon (ultramarine). What a Toolousy Latreck (Toulouse-Lautrec)."

Edit: Let's not forget Bugs Bunny's special mention: "What a Leonardo Da Punchy (Da Vinci)!"

Woody said that yet on the app in a article I read it was the same type of crap NFL Network was saying in the pregame of the Broncos-Jets game.

Pointing out Fields TD-INT ratio to make him seem like a good qb.

No one who has watched the Jets games this season buys it. Then in the photos from the week of practice more Fields.

I'm sick of Fields man I'm sick of looking at him I'm sick of his emotionless face I'm sick of his ballsless play. PUSH THE BALL DOWNFIELD!!!

TANNER FIRST PLAY OF THIS GAME SHOULD CALL FOR A BOMB DOWNFIELD!!!

Tyrod stunk last week but at least he threw the ball downfield.

Who knew Woody was such a master motivator. Shits all over the QB who then ends up starting due to injury to the other one, and actually plays well and leads the team to a W. This is the genius of Woody's complex psychologically brilliant assessment: "if we could just complete a pass, it would look good." A mastermind that is always several steps ahead...

He's Chauncey Gardner in Being There, the movie. Dumb as a box of rocks, but also brilliant.

He really was spot on there, the Jets completed a pass and it looked good. He has a firm grasp on Occam's Q-tip. Thinking is truly overrated.

And yet in spite of all that, or maybe because of it, as you said, you just can't help but find yourself mesmerized and rooting for her... She is indeed the metaphor for the Jets. As I am sure @jetophile will agree, this should really be a painting named Woody and the Jets.

He can fix the fallout from his stupid comments. He just has do give a good public apology and statement. He could hire a PR firm if necessary. Prediction: he won't.

I don't know if it was motivation so much as it was baiting Fields into playing well. Which would make Woody a master [redacted].

And the blue tie, even the owner won't wear his teams gear to an NFL owners meeting they are so bad. Such a fucking tool bag he is.

Did you guys see what Woody Johnson said to Dianna Russini that same day?

He told her she has him all wrong. (shes the one that wrote the article about his son, madden ratings, etc.), He said that article wasn't a reflection of the kind of owner he is.
    --
So I asked him: What, in your mind, makes you a good owner?

“Well, I’m obviously not a good owner in terms of winning,” he said. “I think the players can relate to me in some ways, even though I don’t have their background. I have a certain amount of empathy, I think, that they can feel. I can’t be them. I don’t have their background. I didn’t grow up in their neighborhood. There’s no way I can completely understand what they went through and their life. But I think they know that I’m an understanding person. I’m willing to listen to anybody to tell me anything they want to tell me. I’m willing to listen to their ideas, too.”

What I’m hearing from Jerry Jones and Jeffrey Lurie, plus the latest trade deadline buzz - The Athletic
