Ok, here’s the plan: we limit the offense to the Tecmo Bowl playbook. We all have an app, choose a play every down, and the play with the most votes gets called. That way, we CAN blame the fanbase if we lose, like some people want us too.
Considering I never heard of it I'll have to take your word... but Super Tecmo Bo Jackson disagrees regardless....
Sir, I offer up Fall Out 4 in the modern action genre, but in all reality, the best game ever was Sensible World of Soccer on the Amiga 500 With a SpeedKing joystick The amount of hours, days, weeks playing that against my mate until 3am is hard to even imagine lol Obviously, it looks shite now but it was fast with great game play, also the football manager series (now called FM) is equally addictive. If only they could make an NFL manager game worth the name and oddly no good boxing manager sim either, sigh.
Damn. I spent an hour on the phone with Columbia Presbyterian's Kidney & Transplantion Dept. yesterday trying to get a message through (second attempt from the other day). I can explain why later. Anyway, I have strong ties to Columbia and I have very close ties to the Transplant Community. No doubt Nick Mangold developed rhabdomyolisis. Usually you don't come out of that, you just go into complete organ failure. That's a shame. His pro athlete status didn't make him more deserving than anyone else, and by the same token, it didn't make him any less deserving. It's a desperate, excruciating situation. RIP, Nick, and blessings and healing to your family. You were a great Jet.
Unsticking this thread to make sure Nick Mangold's thread has proper visibility. Will sticky this back in a week. @Cman69
Moments like this make me think Glenn hasn't lost them: Rich Cimini @RichCimini Post-game celebration: Christopher Johnson presented Aaron Glenn with the game ball to raucous cheers, I’m told. DT Harrison Phillips picked up Glenn with such gusto that it prompted laughs from players. #Jets
Not the 500 but I saw this and thought of your post. I guess we can thank my phone's AI for this one. I hadn't thought of the Amiga in thirty years at least. https://www.tomshardware.com/video-...ic-games-pre-orders-and-launch-date-announced
Look I am thrilled they won because of Nick, he was always a favorite Jet and heartbroken he's gone. The Bengals put up almost 40 points on our defense and our offense finally looked competent but against the hands down worst defense in the NFL. Great win but our defense was bad, real bad all but the last couple of drives and the offense was good in a desperation game against an atrocious defense. The coach made bad decisions again like going for it on the second drive and tossing it back 7 yards, this game was looking like another giant fuck all so I am in no way excusing Glenn for 0-7 and the disaster this season has been to this point just because they looked competent against awful competition. This thread will get stickied again, give it a couple of weeks.
Yes, the next version of the machine, I couldn't afford that lol then the PlayStation was released 2 years later, killed the Amiga dead. God, I feel old all of a sudden
NHL Hockey 92-95 were all so much fun. Used to play with friends all the time. Always fun to lay someone out and get boood by the crowd.
give credit where its due, Glenn pushed the right buttons down the stretch with his 2 point conversion decisions. They werent obvious calls either. down 31-22, a lot of coaches would've kicked the extra point there. And of course down 38-30 as well. Without both those calls the Jets dont win like that
