NFL Europa RIP???

    in the first pic i am 77 yeah we had a great time in frankfurt the place is sweet
    got to meet the head coach and got a tour around the grounds and got a football signed by some of the players


    and the pic 2
    after a night out on the town and a few too many beers i awoke to find the 2 lads snuggled up in bed they say nothing happened
    i think otherwise :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:

    So which team is it that you play for ?
    I sold my kit to one of the Belfast Bulls a coulple of years ago , can't remember his name , but he was a WR.

    I think this is a bad move for the NFL. They were losing money in Europe, but nothing dramatic considering their revenues. Bush is going to be gone soon. Europeans in general are going to be feeling better about the US. NFLE would have gotten a boost and had a real chance of turning into something.

    Where else is the NFL going to get a farm team to develop players for a million a year?

    The international games will sell well at first and then they'll go flat.

    I don't think they'll go flat - ever. But european teams would still be nice even if there are only few european players. The GermanFootballLeague sucks and can't replace the NFLE.

    Far too many on here seem to think that most Europeans hate the US , not so :beer:


    I think they will lose more than $s , just taking away a league that was finally starting to settle down was a mistake. Longevity would have seen established teams form rivalries and new teams emerge , in different countries , thus spreading the appeal.
    Alot of good work has been undone, and alot of friends of the NFL will also be lost
