Hopefully Hughes' delivers tomorrow. He has to attack the strikezone more and relax out there. Then he'll be fine. He has the talent to be successful

if matsui doesn't play, you could have damon, melky, abreu in the OF, duncan DHing, Giambi at 1st. I guess. Another option would be Betemit.

A squirrel climbed the screen attached to the right-field foul pole for the second straight Tuesday night, prompting cheers of "Let's Go Squirrel!" in the bottom of the sixth before A-Rod homered.

It would be nice to go 3 up on the Mariners, that is for sure. Tonight was a fun game to watch though.

why would torre take posada out of the lineup.. they have an off day 2morrow, and this game is extremely important.. it would have been nice to have posada in the lineup, as well as abreu

I think it's because he had two home runs last night. You do know Torre, right? They don't call him clueless for nothing.

Abreu and Matsui haven't hit Washburn for shit, so it's not like it's out of nowhere for those two.

    Abreu 1-13 5K's
    Matsui 2-14

I don't know about Posada. I suppose he could benefit from two days off... but who knows?

when they do the out of town scoreboard, do they just look at some sheet someone handed them a few minutes ago? If they use the friggin' Internet, they can see the scores.

No, Suzyn, Boston-Toronto is not scoreless.

phanton tag from jeter.. i really feel jeter is going to benefit from this day off, his average is slip sliding.. he just doesnt look jeteresque this year.. i know jeter came in to the game battin .321 today, but he has had some bad games lately
