I agree. I think the realistic goal is 4 and 4. Beat Miami (1-2) Split Bills/Giants (2-3) Beat Philly (3-3) Lose Cincy (3-4) Beat Bills at home (4-4)
Yeah, that's possible but the Miami game is essential. If we somehow lose that one we could go into a skid that may last for weeks.
Wow, I read this thread hoping to find some rays of sunshine, and found it was just a total derailment from the start. In keeping with the title of the thread, I'll say something positive about the Jets. "At least we're not Oakland!"
Well Im trying to stay positive at least:lol: Typically during the game I am really negative, and later in the season I am realisitc. But 2 games into the season against the best team in the NFL, and then on the road against a playoff team, it is not un-realistic for us to be 0-2
I can see us winning the next 3 games. Who do we play in the 4th? The Eagles? Ok, we can win the next four. GO CHAD!
The Jets have a great opportunity to right the ship one game at a time. They did a lot of positive things against the Ravens most of which was surviving the onslaught and proveing they can play and compete against an elite NFL team. It probably didn't hurt any one to see the Pats kick the crap out of the Chargers either. I'm very confident the Jets will play very well the next few games. They may stumble once but they will be very competitive.
Tough, Tough loss. But no matter how bad it seems this season isn't over, the 4 games I really see us having no shot are Tennessee, New England, Dallas and the Steelers. You never know folks, stranger things have happened. Today sucked but still :jets:
Tough season, no doubt. The future still looks relatively bright and next year's draft should be fun! :jets:
