Dont lose faith just yet SJ, it was WIllis and he threw a Gem. We have to go to Cincinatti where Milwaukee has the Padres, much rather have our schedule, we were never going to win every game, just like its unlikely the Brewers will win every game.

Just think back to what Lou has said all year:

' We just need to win Series'

i still believe anything can happen between now and sunday. you guys will be facing the reds top 3 pitchers, so you never know

all in all, im satisfied with this season in the sense of knowing that next year is gonna be a force with our rotation and line up. braun hitting 3rd with 40+ HR power and fielder behind him with 50+, sheets and gallardo all season, a ring is coming to milwaukee in the near future...

Tell you what the Brewers have a good chance at post season play, the Cubs are playing poorly at the minute, and with 2 defeats in 2 games its time to start getting nervous. Cubs writers better start looking for 'curses' to blame a posible collapse on if it happens.

If the Brewers win (Currently down 3-2) then that will put them 1 game behind with just 4 to go.

Luckily Milwaukee choked last night's game away. I just think they're favourites right now. Cubs will have to pull something out of the bag to make the postseason and I doubt they are capable.

Look for Dempster and Traschel to combine as we're SWEPT by the MARLINS tonight :/

I am geting nervous, but with a 2 game lead and 4 to play we are still in a good position, im looking for a good Traschel performance tonight to get us on the right track, and mayby a bit of explosive offensive play.

    LETS GO CUBBIES

Yep, the Cubs are trying there hardest to give the central to the Brewers, wonder what they will blame it on if it happens?

Pity your Brewers couldnt capitalise huh:wink:

2 game lead with 3 to go and big Z on the mound tomorrow, and we get rid of those pesky Marlins (We just cant beat them, lost the last 10 games to them)

    Cubs Can Clinch Today.

    Wow.

Never thought I'd be saying that.

In fact, all joking aside, I EXPECT us to clinch today. Wins for Zambrano and Maddux, thanks.

That would be sweet for us to clinch tonight, im looking for a good display aswell, we have not been playing well, and we need to go into the play-offs with a bit of momentum.

im sorry we're not like cubs, red sox, and yankees where we can go out and buy our teams and then still lose in playoffs. For all the money the cubs spent this past off season, they should have been more than 2 games better than us.

BTW, you all better watch out next may when milwaukee comes to boston. The green monster will be falling down...

Maybe if Selig spent the money he got from revenue sharing instead of lining his pockets...

Cubs are apparently set to complete a trade for Brian Roberts today. Gallagher, Marshall and Cedeno heading to Baltimore. Glad to see the back of Cedeno, to be honest. Happy all over.
