i wasnt implying anything, i just said the way he escaped pressure, while looking downfield reminds me of big ben, and by the my sack feels excellent, thats whats giving me the euphoria, a 1-8 team gives me the runs

clemens always had the ability to scramble and try to create, the one fact i love about him is that if he knows no recievers are open he throws the ball away, and does not try to make a play.

its his first start this season so he was not going to be perfect, but he did do an excellent job for us, almost came out with the win, had some great fantasy numbers.

if we get a real good guard, and a better right tackle than clement, watch out for clemens he can be a good QB in the NFL, in the ranks of big ben without the superbowl, he will need atleast one more year to be a playoff caliber QB. the key ingredient is the right guard and right tackle to help our OLINE.

Ben is bigger and probably has a stronger arm. But Kellen could be just as good a quarterback down the line, certainly.

Plus. I don't think that Kellen is dumb enough to get on a motorcycle and buzz through city traffic, even with a helmet on.

Also likely true. Ben is a physical specimen that KC can never be.

See how many times the Steelers have won when Big Ben has to throw the ball 30 times.
    2007 2-2
    2006 4-6
    2005 2-3
    2004 3-0

I would hardly say this is a QB who can carry the team on his back. Ben would be terrible with the Jets and not have a chance to win with this team. I hope Kellen is much better than Big Ben. I don't think Big Ben is as good as Chad. When he has to be the offense, the Steelers lose.

he is a bigger specimen, which means he hits the ground harder and can get hurt faster than KC.

clemens is a faster runner. so he does have a chance to be better than big ben. because ben is bigger does not mean he is tougher on taking a hit.

He reminded me of Namath without the 8 knee surgeries.

I think it is too early to compare Clemens to anyone.

What I did like was his poise and ability to deliver the ball quickly. What I did not like is the continued drops and lack of communication with the WR's. Hopefully that can be ironed out as this makes 2 games with horrible horrible drops. Is that a symptom of QB change or a trend?

I'll gladly take a Mark Brunell in his prime without the injuries
