Just thought i'd let you guy's know i contacted channel 7 news about the PSL letter we season ticket holders recieved, just the other day.
My seats are the "coaches club" seats that will be put up for online auction, to the highest bidders. No mention about relocating me to another area, or anything.
I've had these 4 seats since 1980, and have been cast out with the trash, as i'm sure some of you have been also. I just can't go down without a fight.

The woman i spoke with said she was very interested in the story, and had me e-mail her the letter i recieved from the JETS. I was told to include my contact information, and that they would be getting in touch.
Too bad i didn't have a THEGANGGREEN.COM shirt to wear if i'm interviewed!
    Stay tuned!

Your seats are not "coaches club" seats because you don't have seats in the new building yet. I'm not sure why people keep saying it like that.

You have good seniority and excellent seats in the CURRENT stadium, which means you are going to get dibs on whatever section you can afford.

well, being that my seats are located in the area dedicated as "coaches club", i think i your wrong.
When the JETS moved from SHEA, to GIANTS stadium, they moved my seats to the same area, so i don't really get your point.
I don't have seniority on these seats, as these seats are designated for on line auction.

I don't think that is something you should expect.

NO ONE is having their current seats directly translated to the new stadium. Starting with the '77s and back, you get to pick where you want to sit in the new house. The section you're in now happens to be where the coaches club.

I don't really see where you are feeling uniquely jipped. I've been in section 337 since 1997, and I honestly doubt there will be an upperdeck no-PSL seat available to me when my name comes up to pick. That's life.

I don't think i'm being uniquely jipped, at all.If you really read my post i said that all season ticket holders are being treated unfairly.I am upset about this for all season ticket holders, not just myself.
I would think you would be happy that someone is willing to try and take a stand against big business, and stand up for us, the little guy.
At least i'm willing to do more to take a stand, then just complain about it on a website.

it isn't life. Problem is people are taking this lying down. I hope you get your story on tv. What the 4 sports franchises are doing to their fans is a disgrace! Every team is raising their already insane prices so we can pay for the new stadiums.

I appreciate your opinion, and agree that we can't take this lying down.I just want it to be understood, that this is not "my story", but it's a sad story about how all of us season ticket holders are being hung out to dry.

If you wanna mention that no PSLs on top are just PR BS, you can. I think most people would rather pay the $1000 to have a transferable PSL over just a BS season ticket choice of yes or never. JMO

How can people be complaining now? I think they did it very fairly. Just about a third of the stadium has no PSL, then they start at 4-5k, which you can pay over 5 years. Doing it by seniority, you get what you pay for, free - upper deck, pay, lower deck.

Does anybody read the Info on the website before they post about the PSLs?
P.S. I think the press knows about the PSLs since there have been stories in every newspaper.

Dude it is a digrace that they are auctioning those tickets off, but be happy you have a lot of seniority and the ability to pick a new section.

It's the overall lack of respect for the true fans that have stuck by this team for years, and now we are just hung out to dry. It is big business catering to big business. The stadium that was once filled with true, die hard fans, will now be filled with the corporate out of towners, or casual fans, who got thier tickets because somebody knows somebody, who works for Goldman Sachs, and has great seats on the 50 yard line.
All of us, who obviously bleed green, or we would'nt spend so much time on this site, should be appalled by this notion.

Well, they aren't there because everyone of those 2200 seats belong to no one right now and will be auctioned off and it doesn't matter how much seniority anybody has.

Your seats are in Giants stadium. Your section is in Giants stadium. Nobody's seats or section exist in the new stadium. The new stadium is a clean slate that will be repopulated from scratch.

What you have is seniority, and your tickets in Giants stadium are very good, which gives you priority over people with equal seniority but lesser seats in Giants stadium.

You will basically get the best seats of anyone in the section you decide on in the new stadium.
