Douchebag? Because he does not write about this move in glowing terms?

To some degree, there is some truth to this, after all, Minnesota was his first choice, not the Jets.

Yeah--this guy seems like one of those cheap-wine sipping pseudo-intellectuals at an art opening dressed in a raggedy suit with cool glasses. Knows nothing about the NFL except what he's overheard or been told by his friends. Reads the New Yorker but doesn't really get it. Writes shi**y poetry and maybe goes to a slam or two but never participates. Probably owns a cat who hides out from all except him. Could very well be queer but for sure, has "experimented". Probably likes the Richard Gere treatment, if you know what I mean. Waste of ink, if you ask me.

This is just a rehash of everything we've read already... There is nothing new here.

Actually, I was thinking of something a little harder than that.

This article says our huddle is where dreams go to die.

I like this guy -- I would love for Kris Jenkins to get to know him for a few hours on the line of scrimmage.

I need to remember to keep his e-mail address for when the NYJs get into the season.

his greatest achievement is chronicling golf. this guy can suck a bag of dicks. but by the way he writes im sure he would have to bypass the express lane as 10 dicks or less is not enough for this fag.

    what a douche.

heres how i feel about favre. yeah he wanted minnesota first. why wouldnt he? anyone? anyone? exactly if ur favre you go to a team with a top defense and quite possibly the most dynamic player in quite some time.

boo hoo its not us. people paint this picture of favre destined to be a failure when they forget the same packers team now overrated without him wasnt shit the last few years. albeit neither was brett's performance. which means one thing. the team swam or sank by favre.

what does that mean ladies and gentleman. it means hes fucking brett favre, the same guy most likely to will a team to victory also quite likely to throw it to your opponent. yeah that guy. we know what we got. and the fact favre is suiting up proves he feels playing here is worth it. he couldve just as easy changed his mind if he felt he was wasting his time this year.

I keep reading that the Patriots are guaranteed to win at least 12 games and the Jets have no way to win the division title because of their record LAST YEAR... And the best they will do is 9-7... Like Adam whatsisname on the Jets network, who picks the Bills (!!???!)... Hey, after all the improvements the Jets made in the offseason, why the heck would you pick the Bills???

I would have been one of those naysayers myself, but honestly, now that the Jets have a quality QB? I don't see why they can't with the AFC East.

Two things these "NFL Experts" forget is how the Patriots suddenly looked very old in the AFC playoffs, and how NOT goin 16-0 this season will wear on them. Honest, just think about it.

Now, I am not saying that the Jets are hungry enough and talented enough to knock the Pats off the throne (I am scared to death of those Jaguars, who are all of those things), but I do think the Jets will surprise a lot of people this year.

    Steelers? They lost Faneca! Hello!

Colts? Eli's bro is hurtin' for certain. He's getting old!

Chargers? They have so many problems... Their "LT" was old and injured last year.

From watching the NFL for the last 30 years, I honestly can't see why anyone would pick a front-runner to win a division.

Again, this is far from a prediction for the Jets to win anything this year. Thing is, I see a "transition year" ahead for the NFL, and I think the Jets will be in the mix.

Bosko,I think you are right about the Patriots not being as good this year. Also I would not be suprised if Brady's injury isn't worse than they are letting on. Today in a interview he said he was ready to go for the opener, but those thins aren't always up to him.

The Jets begin shutting up the haters on Sunday. All their negativity combined can't dampen the optimism Jets Nation feels heading in the 2008 regular season.:)

Mangled 38 year old body? New York's jayvee team?

This guy sounds like a Giants fan bitter about Favre and the Jets taking the spotlight away from his precious Eli and Giants.

Is it wrong to say the two biggest qb stars to ever play in NY have played for the Jets? Broadway Joe Namath and now Brett Favre.

Hey, some of these guys picked the Jets to go to the SB last year after the season they had in '06. Don't expect to be seeing any love after we made fools out of them.

Fine. Just knock it off with the "Nation" bullshit. That's for those homos in New England who act like their ancestors were moved onto a reservation. Way gay.

On a side note, I knew Ian O'Connor a little bit in college.

Brett calculates EVERYTHING. He would NOT have agreed to a trade to the Jets if he didn't think they could win a super bowl. He might not expect it, but he's not coming back to add to his streak and add to his records. I promise you he would not have agreed to a trade to the Cardinals, Raiders, Dolphings, etc.

He agreed because the Jets can get to and win the Super Bowl with that revamped line, 2 solid RB's, and a great WR corps. Not to mention the TE's.
