i agree cassel would be seeing stars sunday if a healthy abraham anchored this line but thats the keyword HEALTHY.. dont worry he will be out with some type of injury for atlanta soon. he was already on the sidelines in the 4th quarter VS the lions favoring something. its really too bad.

if the patriots had the lions offensive line, then yeah

he had 3 sacks against the worst o-line in the league ... and he's healthy for maybe 1 game a year

its funny how quick we turn on an ex jet.

feel terrible for the guy he has been injured way too many times in his career, sure he probably isnt the toughest guy in the world but he has had some legitimate injuries too. wish him the best of luck he is and will always be a good player, when healthy.

Well, the answer is not play center at a very high level and be much younger then he is now. So I could care less what Abraham may be able to do in a defense like this. That is if he could make the transition to 3-4 OLB, because he;s way to small to play end here.

I dont think a day has gone by that I regretted the JETS making the Abraham trade which ended up in Nick Mangold.

He was the most exciting Jet, yet gave us the most fustration. Loved him here. Wish him well, but hurt way to much.

abe brought an exciting element to the jets, everytime someone else passed you felt a strip was coming, at times he took over the game, i just saw he had 3 sacks so he still has it, no need to get all pissede off for startin an abe thread

i watched the game....he played well, but that was a game that was set up for him to succeed...
the lions were down 21-0 in the first quarter...and throwing the entire game...abe didnt have to think about stopping the run
kitna isn't very mobile, and the lions o-line still has a few holes

Trading Abe, I was sad when he was gone, but I'm ECSTATIC we were able to use the pick to get Nick Mangold, an anchor on our resurgent OL.

The trade has paid dividends already, as far as I'm concerned. A STUD center is hard to come by, and we deffinetly have one.

I agree. John Abraham ALWAYS lights it up early in the season. Then about 4 games in he dings his hamstring, loses his speed rush and is never heard from again. Now I've always liked him as a player but when you really need him to perform (late in the season, play-offs, etc) he never seems to show. I'm glad that we traded him.
