    Leon = God

Huge playmaker ever since he was drafted, by far my favorite jet, I feel proud wearing my authentic white #29 jersey on sundays. Now just get him the ball on offense more, how bout starting?

Agreed. Everytime the Jets need a spark, Leon's there. Whether it's returning a kickoff for good field position, or catching a screen pass for good yardage. He is always a threat on the outside and gives the Jets a chance everytime. One of my favorite Jets since he was drafted.

How about some love for Leon?

Neon Leon pretty much carried this team today.

Another reason why he is my favorite player on this team.

    Sure did.

But I just saw the other thread on him at the bottom.

We can lock this one up.

I don't understand why he doesn't get more touches on the offense. Get him the ball in space and let him go. Overflood the zone and let him come behind the vacated area. Makes sense to me.

Leon completely neutralized Brett Favre today.

Disgrace that he wasn't the kick returner for the AFC last year - had more TDs than anyone else in that possession IIRC.

    Just seen this on NFL.com

    "Game ball
Leon Washington made the most of his 13 touches for the Jets. The reserve running back gained 67 yards on three carries, 34 yards on three catches, 102 yards on four kickoff returns and 71 yards on three punt returns for a total of 274 all-purpose yards. He also scored two touchdowns."

I didn't realise just how good his numbers were - that's sensational!!!

    274 all-purposes yards from 13 touches!!

He's very exciting to watch, to say the least. I've come to that realization before today, but today solidified that. His kick off/punt returns were really good, same goes for his two TDs. He's quick.

I don't see why we should give love to a player that only ran the ball 3 times? I mean if he was any good, he should get more carries then 3 a week......especially against teams (Raiders included) that couldn't stop the run with guns to their collective heads.

Oh I dunno, maybe because he averaged 22.3 ypc and .33 TD/c today. Find me another player who did that this Sunday and you may have a point.

He ran the ball 3 times and had more yards than our starter. How is it his fault that he only ran it 3 times? Also had double the amount of touchdowns and not to mention the punt return that put us at midfield towards the end of the game. Hes the reason we won today.
